Tattoo To Commemorate Surgery

I am getting surgery how soon before can i get a tattoo?

a doctor cant deny you surgery because of a fresh tattoo that would be like saying no i cant do surgery because you have a bad scrape on your rib a tattoo only goes 1/16Th of an inch into your skin.. I know to donate blood you have to wait 1 year if you have got tattooed or pierced.. but that's about it.. remember your body will be trying to heal 2 spots at once though and your tattoo may heal rough and you will have to have a touch up or it just will take forever to heal.. chances are the doc won't see it anyhow the ribs and the septum are 2 way different areas your good! Just remember eat well and take vitamins

Tattoo to commemorate my car accident?

Don't you have scars for that?
Really, instead of glorifying your accident, why not get a tattoo about your life?
The focus seems to be backwards here.
Your tattoo should be about the life you have and how you will live it. Not about what almost stopped it.
The accident should be a turning point, not a point of focus. You need to move forward from the accident, not stay on the accident and go over it again and again.
Your scars and your missing two weeks are quite enough.

How about a beautiful flower? What better image to show life and how fragile and how strong and how you should focus on the now and the future? It could be your birth month flower or your favorite flower or one that means something to you in some way. I would go with a very realistic and pretty one or maybe 3 in different stages of opening.
Or how about a symbol? Celtic knots show the complicated connections of a life.

Once again. Birthday on JULY 17 surgery on AUGUST 5

does anyone know?

Thanks!

Tattoo quote for overcoming ACL injury?

As the owner of a tattoo studio, I can honestly say that we get the same quotes over and over again. It will be interesting to see if anyone comes up with something unique but I very much doubt it...we all use the same resources, we all use the web, to find quotes.

If I was you I would ask someone that means a lot to you to come up with something...perhaps a parent or a child..ask them to to write something that has meaning. Then the tattoo will will always remind you of them and their support, as well as the injuries you have overcome.

Getting a tattoo tomorrow, what is a good quote/lyric for the love of my son?

Getting a tattoo tomorrow, what is a good quote/lyric for the love of my son?
I'm getting my son's footprints tattoo'd on me, and I wanted to get a quote/lyric around them that will describe my love for him, and how blessed/happy I am.
