What should I do when I run out of ideas in The Sims 4?
Thanks for the A2A! To be honest I don’t feel like I run out of ideas that often. I have a save with two extended and intertwining families (it’s almost a soap opera!) and I rotate play between the different households. They have different careers, some have kids, some are single and out on the town, some meet and start a relationship (not that I force them to, mkay?). I have actually become attached to some of these Sims so their whereabouts keep me interested… most of the time.It’s true that one does have to pep the game up a bit once in a while. Apart from starting a challenge, which is a good idea, what I do is play another save I’m not so, erm… emotionally invested in, so I can experiment more. Sometimes doing “bad” things is fun. Maybe I will start a dysfunctional family where both parents have very bad traits and maybe another nice relative, and see what goes from there. Or give a neat Sim a slob lazy roommate. Or a snob materialistic Sim a house with cheap and ugly furniture and keep them poor. You can also do nice things like household that makes a living from farming and fishing (or beekeeping if you have Seasons) or your Sim can be a self-employed painter or writer. If you have expansion packs there’s other interesting things like running a vet clinic or a restaurant, being a doctor or a police officer, busking for tips or go treasure hunting in the jungle.And of course there’s mods that can make your game more interesting and “alive”. Littlemssam has plenty of awesome ones, my favourite is the home business mod, where your Sim can operate a café, bar, daycare or yoga center on their home lot. The SimDa dating app mod is also pretty cool if you want your Sim to go on a string of blind dates, and there’s many more. I also love NoelleBellefleur’s work from home mods, where you control your Sim’s workday instead of just having them disappear. Zerbu also has some really cool mods… can’t find the link but he’s on Tumblr.Speaking of which, if you don’t have one already I would recommend you to have a Tumblr just for The Sims (aka a Simblr), engaging in the community is definitely one of the nice things about The Sims.The bottom line is to create unique Sims and explore all their possibilities. And always add something (even something a little bad) to twist your game, picture-perfect households get boring after a while.
My Sims 3 lags in "Create Sim"?
So I have Sims 3 installed on my computer, and its up to date. (version: 1.24.3.012001) When I want to change my sim's clothing color to a custom color or pattern it lags severely. It has the loading ring, and the "accept" button on the color pallet thingy won't let work because it's still loading. How can I fix this problem?
Bored with Sims 3 - Family Ideas and Tips?
So, I'm starting to get bored with The Sims 3. I tend to use cheats (motherlode and testingcheatsenabled true) and make the perfect families/characters. Without cheats, I tend to get really stressed, and I have trouble making a flawed family and flawed characters. But I'm up for a challenge, so do you have any ideas? Realistic, please - something that could happen in real life families. Also, I'm not going on killing-sprees, even though I know that a lot of people love those. And do you have any tips for not cheating, or something else in Sims 3? They are all welcome. Any ideas and tips, really - I need to create some new, interesting content for my game. Oh, and on a different note: I'm really excited for The Sims 4! Thank you.

Ok so my sim is cheating on Kate Pistachio (they are engaged) and they still have feelings for their ex-wife Cody Goth (daughter of CAS Octavio Nike and Cornelia Goth). Cody looks mainly like Holly Alto but her mouth is different. So who should he marry? BTW this is kinda funny: Fiona McIrish and Molly French are engaged :P lol

You can make your own Sims 3 movie/series. You could do Sims 3 music videos (just beware of music copy rights, they're so annoying). You can do Create a Sims videos by making different types of people or celebrities in create a Sim/houshold... How do you bury your sim in the cemetery in the sims 3?

One of my Sims in Sims 4 never sits down to read a book more than a few seconds. How do I make her read a book?
It may have something to do with your sim’s personality traits. If that’s the case then you can edit your sim’s traits by using cheats (testingcheatsenabled on > Casfulleditmode) to add the ‘bookworm’ trait. This will make them enjoy reading books and enable the option ‘analyze book’ after reading (if you have Get Together, you’ll be able to form a book club!). Another thing i can think of is disabling autonomy mode, which means that you sims won’t perform any task without you telling them to, however it will also affect other sims in your household.
