Water leak in mobile home?
lots of possibility! the only way to know for sure is to open the belly. find the spot that is full of water (you will most likely want to replace the insulation any way) and cut it open with a razor knife.Cut about a one foot "X". let the water drain for a while and then pull the remaining wet insulation out usually it is possible to look into the hole and find the lines and then possibly the leak itself at least get a closer bearing on it. at four years old you have PEX pipe more than likely if it is rigid plastic then it is CPVC some manufacturers used this pipe further south but here in MN the possibility is to great for freeze-up and the CPVC splits very easily! it could be a leaking fitting either at the connection between the pipe and the fitting itself or it could actually be a porosity hole in the fitting itself. if it is a hole then the fitting will need replacement. if it is just not crimped properly just re crimp it (two wraps of electrical tape and hit it again)you may have to cut another hole for the actual repair. once repaired replace the insulation in the removed area (don't pack it in the hole replace it carefully)then close the hole with a peice of poly tarp and 3M spray adhesive(don't skimp on the glue it runs about 9.00 a can)
