Travel Blog Posting Rules For Photos Of Local People. Help.

What are some of the best travel blogs in South East Asia?

The challenge in making a list of the "best travel blogs" for a region is that many authors of travel blogs are, well, travelling, and so by the very nature of the blog, eventually leave. Food bloggers are an exception to the rule so I'd start with them:(Note I'm an Emglish reader, so there's a bias)Eating Asia: http://eatingasia.typepad.com/ (Malaysia and regional)Austin Bush: http://www.austinbushphotography... (Primarily Thai, some regional)Nyam Penh: http://nyampenh.wordpress.com (Cambodia, quite new, promising)Sticky Rice: http://stickyrice.typepad.com/ (Vietnam)Away from food, these are some recentish blogs that I reckon demonstrate good blogging and/or interesting subject matter.http://newdigate.me/ Exceptional photos, interesting and tightly written.http://www.thesiracusas.com Great pics, some off-the-beaten-track stuffhttp://johnnyvagabond.com Engaging, at times very funny writing style, great picshttp://www.onourownpath.com Longer travel, and matching longer form pieces, Personable and some interesting, not typical travel blog stuffhttp://aaronjoelsantos.wordpress... Driven more by the pics and they are very exceptional.http://wheretheroadmeetsthesun.com/ Lovely, engaging writing.

How do people get so many followers on instagram?

1. They are not shy about using hashtagsUnlike tweets, where using more than 2 hashtags makes it looks unreadable and spammy, Instagram encourages hashtags. You can use up to 30 hashtags per post. This will make your photos searchable for other users and broaden your exposure to many new followers. 2. They use the right hashtagsThere are hashtags which are way more popular or trendy than others. The best practice for finding the right hashtags for your photo is actually follow influencers (which is my next point) and track which hashtags they've used. 3. They follow influencers' best practicesWant to have great food-related instagram profile? Follow food-influencers and analyze deeply their profile.Influencers are power-users with significant audience, which is also devoted and highly engaged with the content. Find everything you can from an influencer profile. Here's something to start with: Community membersTop popular contentTime of postingPosting frequencyHashtag analysisHere's what I've learned in a glance when looking at the profile of the chef  Mario Batali on our platform at Klear:He has 241k Instagram Followers. He uses the hashtag #yumbang a lot.He posts 3 photos per week. He mentions other influencers on his photos. Most of his photos are accompanied with one sentence only. This is just a quick analysis. It can go way deeper and map his network and people he talks with publicly on social networks. These network of people are relevant to you if you're into posting content like his on Instagram. Find the influencers in your niche and analyze their profile. Then follow their strategy till you gain their power. 4. They are friendlyWant people to follow you? Start showing your face around. Follow interesting people around your interests and like and comment on their photos. They'll notice you and so does their audience. Some will follow you back.5. Find the best time to postDon't just post at the moment you take the picture. There are times that get more attention from the Instagramers. According to researches, here are the recommended time frames:Monday and Thursday: any time other than 3–4 p.m.Videos any day at 9 p.m.–8 a.m.Experiment with 2 a.m., 5 p.m., and Wednesday at 7 p.m.(source: Best Times To Post On Social Media (What 10 Studies Say) To cut it short, the best way to gain followers is to post original quality photos, do your research and be friendly. Oh, and also do not forget to have fun!

Is it legal to photograph banks?

I have included a link that should be helpful.

A bank is private property which means you can't go inside and do whatever you want - including photography.

Standing on public property (like a sidewalk) is diffferent. You can photograph anything you can see. You cannot obstruct other people while doing it, however, like setting up a tripod that gets in people's way.

Bank security might not like you making pictures of the bank, but that's too bad for them if you're on public property. They can't legally make you stop, you go away and they certainly can't take your camera or make you erase your pictures.

If confronted, take out the print of your rights from the link, below. Heck, bring two copies with you so any one bothering you has a copy to keep for themselves. Be friendly, smile, explain that you're a hobby photographer and this is a personal project to photograph the banks of your city. Don't act like a jerk. But be firm as well. You are free to photograph what you want from public property for your own personal, private use.

Can you get in trouble for posting pictures of having/smoking weed on Tumblr?

Trouble with the law? No. They have no way to prove that it really is marijuana and not something else, like oregano.

Trouble with your parents? You bet you can. They don't need proof for punishing you for inappropriate photos you post (assuming you are school age).

*EDIT* - What do you mean by "alone"? Alone in the picture? Doesn't matter either way if you are alone or with a group - Still no evidence that it is actually marijuana and not some other substance that resembles marijuana, but is legal.

I should also add that since you post this on the Internet for the world to see, the world can see it. Employers can find it and can legally discriminate against you for such pictures.

*EDIT* - I love how people leave a thumbs down for correct answers, but are too much of a coward to post WHY they give the thumbs down.

Can I post photos on facebook taken by professional photographers?

ASK the photographer.

Copyright means that ONLY the copyright holder (the photographer) can publicly display the work unless they give permission otherwise.

Instagram deleted my photo for violation of Community Guidelines, but it did not!?

Believe it or not, there are people who want to give you a hard time my friend. Here on yahoo answers, someone is continually removing my questions from yahoo answers. I keep getting emails saying that my question was "reported and deleted by the yahoo answers community." My questions aren't obscene, offensive or bad in any way. But you know why they keep getting deleted? Someone doesn't like my opinion. I posted a lot of anti-abortion, pro-gun rights questions, and they all got deleted. But if I post things that support abortion and condemn gun rights, they're left alone. Yahoo DOES NOT have a staff that monitors the site and removes obscene material. Regular people can sign up and become high ranking members and have the authority to remove whatever they want. They abuse their authority.

What I've gathered, is that the people who have the authority to remove things, have taken over the site. Sure.... Yahoo says that they can't abuse their authority and that they must be fair to others, but it doesn't stop them. These people all appear to be left wing/ democrats, and liberals. They have monopolized this site and have the authority to remove whatever they want.

There are some people who use the Internet to take out their frustrations, and they can do it by being mean and giving others a hard time.

On Instagram, it could've just been a mistake. But someone perhaps doesn't like you, and is trying to give you a hard time. It happens on all sites.

I would make my settings not private so you can see all the questions they've deleted from me, but that would give them an opening to find all my posts, and they'd go crazy deleting my stuff.

I really hoped to have someone to help me get these people back, and I would like to request that you contact me to discuss what to do about these people on yahoo answers who've taken over the site. And believe me, this is true. I have no reason to lie to you. If you'd like, you can go to my profile and contact me, and let me know if you'd like to help me identify and stop these people. I'll change my settings so you can contact me. I know it may not help your Instagram problem, but you'll have an opportunity to stop idiots from ruining people's days. Please consider helping me. It won't take much.

Thanks, I hope I helped.
