Turtle Beaches Problem

Turtle Beaches PX3 problems!?

Last night, I purchased the Turtle Beach Earforce PX3's for the PS3. Took everything out of the box, everything was working fine. I love the product, but earlier today, after a match on Modern Warfare 3, I turned the game off and left for 2 hours. Came home, no sound, no chat. No cords were unhooked or messed with. I went to audio settings, it won't even show up with Turtle Beaches on the input and output. Can someone please help me? I want to continue to play with these! I've unhooked everything, tried turning it back on and off, no help. I cannot even connect them to my pc, considering it's on the brink of crashing, and I'm in safe mode at the moment. I cannot repair the headset, because for some reason, when I press the button for 6 seconds, the headset will blink. And then I will press the transmitter for 3 seconds, like it says, and it will never blink. The transmitter just stays solid, likes it communicating with the headset just fine, but nothing different. Can anyone please help?!

Turtle Beach x32 for xbox 360 PROBLEM!?!?!?

1) Make sure the headset is turned off.
2) Press and hold the transmitter PAIR button for 5 seconds then release the PAIR button.
3) Press and hold the headset's power button. The headset will power up but keep holding the button until you hear two fast beeps. The headset will begin to flash rapidly.
4) After a few seconds, the LED on the transmitter shouldn't be flashing and the headset power button should be flashing once a second. The units should be paired.

I had this same problem. I thought that if i went on to turtle beach's website that it would give me the same directions but the were different than the ones that the headset comes with. I tried them and they worked!!! :)

Turtle Beach x12 bass problem?

I've had my Turtle Beaches for a couple months and it just started doing this. Whenever the bass level goes too low, it makes a "pop" sound and it cuts out the bass during the popping sound. Do I need to buy a new headset?

Turtle Beach X32 problem?

I just bought a X32 and I paired it up correctly, I held down the pair button, then the power button on the headset, and it works, but the power button on the headset is constantly flashing like once every second. Also in certain areas of my room I hear a faint buzzing noise in the headset? How do I fix that buzzing noise and is the power button supposed to be flashing so often?

How do you stop an echo on a turtle beach headset?

Make sure that there are no loose connections (the mic is plugged completely into the controller) or dust on the little brass plug. I had the same problem a while back, resulting in echoing. Turtle beaches are absolutely notorious for the wires and hardware breaking. Luckily, usually if you contact TurtleBeach, they'll be willing to send you a new one. Also, make sure your friends (as well as yourself) don't have the Xbox set to send voice chat to the TV and headset. If your friends have it set to tv and/or headset, their mic could be picking up feedback from their TV. Good luck!

Turtle Beach X11 Echo Problem?

So I've had my turtle beaches since christmas this year and up until now they have been great. Not so much anymore... whenever I have game sound on whenever one of my friends talks i hear an insanely annoying echo on their end (it's definetly not their mic), if i turn my game sound down my friends sound a bit better but their voices go in and out and are fuzzy...help?

Turtle beach px3 gaming headset problem.?

I just bought the headset about an hour ago hooked everything up and the sound is great in the right earpiece but I can only hear a faint doin in the left earpiece any help?

I have Skype, and I use my Turtle Beaches, but now theres a problem...?

I dunno much about Turtle Beach - I guess you've got the xbox headset & mic?
Anyway, Skype has a built-in utility to configure and test your mic and speakers. In Skype go to the TOOLS menu, then click OPTIONS, then click AUDIO SETTINGS. You should see your Turtle Beach listed in the Microphone section. If so, just select it and all should be good.

If you don't see the Turtle Beach listed, then you have to make sure it is recognized by your computer. In Windows go to START button, and type DEVMGMT.MSC in the RUN/SEARCH box. This will open Device Manager. Look under the category for SOUND & VIDEO GAME CONTROLLERS (or similar). Is the Turtle Beach listed there? If not you'll have to re-install it from scratch following the instructions in the manual.
If you"do" see it listed in device manager, highlight it (the entry that says "controller" in it), and right-click and choose Remove or Uninstall. Click OK, then reboot the PC. As the PC boots you'll see a message like "Windows has found new hardware..." Just wait till it gets to the desktop and you see a message that says "Your new hardware is installed and ready to use". Hopefully that'll fix the problem.

Good luck,

Turtle beach x31 mic not working?

Check that both sides of the talkback cable are firmly plugged in (controller and headset side). If the plug isn't in all the way, it can cause problems because of the bad connection. If that’s not the problem, then try a different XBOX controller. Sometimes the jack wears out over time and makes a bad connection with the talkback cable.

If neither one of those is the problem, then contact Turtle Beach tech support at support@turtlebeach.com and they'll send you a replacement talkback cable under the warranty.
