Hate to tell yea but I'm pretty sure Gamespy shut down awhile ago.
Error connecting to Gamespy (halo trial)?
Make sure it's allowed to access the internet through your firewall. Then reinstall Halo Trial, make sure Gamespy is included with that installation. Also check if you have an IP address blocker, like Peergaurdian2 or something similar. Usually disabling the program or allowing "IGN Network" in those types of programs fixes the problem.

Check if there is a firewall program blocking your program from accessing the internet.

It's not you, believe me. a lot of people are getting the error - "An error has occurred trying to contact the GameSpy master server" on Halo PC too, even me. Also, it's not just Halo, many games that are using Game Spy, are getting that error too. It's Game Spy for the most part, they seem to be having problems. Some people can still play, some can't, it's a hit and miss thing. And one of those things that you'll have to wait out.

hey guys.. i have a problem scanning for networks..it wont let me connect with any psp what so ever.. whenever i try to scan for a network.. it says scanning please wait.. then after.. like 3-4 secs. it says "An internal error has occured (80410A0B)"..can someone please help me with this?..thank you very much
How to fix crossfire HGWC error [failed to connect to server] the one that pops out of the game ?
I didn't play Crossfire for long enough to know, but i would suggest going to the official Crossfire website and using their forums, everyone there plays Crossfire and would likely know what to do. :]
Hey when i try to play halo combat evolved online. it says there was an error connecting to the gamespy server
man I've looked everywhere and cannot find an answer, infact this is the only page connected to a search engine that even mentions the problem. and thats only because of you. i have two versons on my pc and neither r working. My friends isnt working either. so i think its a very wide spread problem. It might have somthing to do with the amount of people that downloaded the game and made it work for free but thats just speculation, they could just be doing maintanance or somthin.
