What are your favorite vegan snack recipes?

However, if you are also not the type to rely on protein powders, you can use raw tofu for your smoothies. First, tofu doesn’t have a lot of flavors, which is why it wouldn’t interfere with the flavor of the smoothie. Moreover, the tofu can also enhance the consistency of the smoothie.Baked TofuWhen I am in the mood for fried tofu, I get the next best thing: Baked Tofu! I try to squeeze out all the water in the tofu to ensure that it is cooked better and it will become crispier. I also pre-heat the oven to 350◦ Fahrenheit. Once I have laid out the tofu on the baking sheet, I would sprinkle some oil on the tofu and season the tofu with seasonings before popping it in the oven.Grilled TofuI love tofu in whatever form even as barbeque or kebab. Similar to baked tofu, I begin by squeezing out water from the tofu. This allows me to make sure that the tofu will be grilled to a crisp. I marinate the tofu in some soy sauce and lemon before putting the tofu in a stick with some vegetables in between. Afterward, I pour in some oil on the tofu to make sure that this will result in some nice grilled marks.Steamed TofuSteamed tofu is similar to boiled tofu without using water. This is one of my favorite methods of cooking tofu since I love soft tofu. It keeps the tofu soft and silky and it virtually requires no preparation. I just drizzle a bit of sesame oil over the tofu along with a bit of salt.

What's your favorite vegan food?

I was the biggest dairy-fan. Yogurt, ice-cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese, you name it..

I was VERY surprised when I tried vegan cheese, cream cheese, etc.. it tastes exactly how it would with dairy products. So, I definitely recommend it.

My favourite vegan snacks would have to be.. Hummus with pita, Veggie wraps/sandwiches (with rice, beans, vegan cheese and veggies in it), cut up apples in peanut butter, raisins, dates, figs, crackers..

I also make my own homemade potato chips, yummy =)

What's your favorite quick vegan snack?

What is your favorite little snack, when you don't have time to make a full meal? Or something to snack on while in college/work? Mine is raw broccoli dipped in hummus. It's a surprisingly good combination.

Whats your favourite vegetarian snack?

I best like tangerines: natural packaging, easy to eat, have sugar with the right amount of fiber, juicy. They’re slightly “better” chilled, but they can hang around in a backpack or in a car for a few days and they’re still great!Avocados are a definite close second. The “trouble” with them is needing a knife, which I typically have one nearby, but the salt and lemon juice I really enjoy adding to avocado is not so handy….Dates are also one of my favorite snacks: easy energy, good micronutrients, minimal packaging, no need to take special care. Oh. And sweet, simple to eat.Spicy toasted seaweed and nooch seasoned dehydrated kale “chips” are also some of my go-to vegan snacks but they have bigger price tags, larger environmental footprints, and really require something extra to drink, too.If it’s an “at home” snack—as opposed to a hiking or running-around-town snack—and I can hit the refrigerator? Edamame, hummus and baby carrots, or chips and salsa.Tangerines top my list. =)

Thousands of vegan recipes can be prepared based out of Potatoes, Cauliflower and Paneer. Asians(Indians) recipes are spicy and basically we add chilli/pepper on almost everything. Bhel puri!!! (Made with rice puffs)They are very popular and quick Indian snack which is vegan, healthy and tasty. Indian cuisine offers loooot of vegetarian and vegan options.For those who are looking for something new in a small vegan food circle give this recipe a try.You can get the rice puffs from any Indian grocery stores and store them in airtight container for 4–5 weeks. And to make bhel puri there is no one ideal recipe. You can pretty much personalize everything which goes into this recipe.Just add some finely chopped onions, tomatoes, grated carrots, toasted peanuts, salt and chilli powder/paste according to taste, finish off with some chopped coriander/cilantro and a splash of lemon/lime juice and you have just made a delicious vegan snack in 5 mins similar to thisfrom the plain puff rice like thisHappy eating!!!

The word snack itself sounds quite tempting to me and whenever I want to snack on something I go for something crunchy,spicy ,crispy,yummy and of course filling as well. I recently made a snack recipe that turned out amazing here is the link to that recipe.

That is a hard question to answer. I'll go with chocolate covered pretzels.
