First of all ..Congrats ..I hope you are selected for central government job.Police verification is mandatory for getting appointed in any government job,but relax it is the headache of concerned department not yours.According to latest noticification of Department of Personal and Training (DoPT), the departments are ordered to give appointment to the bonafide candidates and after appointment,they will send your police verification report to your District Magistrate's office.He will forward it to SP office,SP will forward it to your local police station.The local Police will come to your home and they may ask for Adhar card and also take your statement along with two persons of your locality, that you have no criminal background..Again local police will send back report to SP office and SP will forward it to DM office..This whole process will take 2–3 months...But I will advise you to visit DM office or SP office..because many times the clerk who handles file work will not forward your report to next office,and your report will be stucked in between..

It is the duty of the assigned police station to contact you and complete your verification. So wait for them to call you or visit your premises.
Contact lenses without doctor's verification?
I'm more than a little irritated right now, I got my eye exam at Walmart's Visions Center about a month ago. I had to wait about a week to get my contacts, since they had to special order an XR toric lens for one eye. I have my prescription. It is less than 2 months old. I got the eye exam, went back to pick up the contacts and told them they feel wonderful. The only thing I didn't do, was go back after a few days (since I live about 45 minutes away from this Wal-Mart and I had busted my tire a day or two before my appointment) so I called and let them know I wouldn't be making it, and that the contacts felt wonderful and weren't making my eyes sore. They told me that was fine and that I could come in at any time to get my contacts ordered through them. Flash forward to now, I try to order my contacts online, because I don't want to deal with mark-up and I just wanted to have my contacts. So put in my order and wait for the confirmation email. Surprise surprise, when the online place contacted them, they said they don't have history of a contact fitting for me. I'm not sure why they would say that, considering the 2 hours I spent in their waiting room and over $150 dollars I spent on them. I understand it's a law that they can't sell me contacts without a valid prescription or doctor's consent or whatever, but I have a freaking brand new prescription that I can't use because I won't drive the 45 minutes to wait 2 hours for a less than 10 minutes appointment and paying for marked up contacts. What do I do from here?
Is My VOE (Verification Of Enrollment Still Valid?
I Got A Driving test appointment scheduled for today. I Got all my paper work filled out and all my required documents. This VOE is required for all and it has a 30 day expiration date after issuance. Today it is exactly 30 days since its been issued but at the bottom it says "The VOE Forms issued the last 5 days of the school year expire the first day of the following school year.". I did get it signed like the second to last day before the school year ended. So is it still valid?? I Would really hate to go through all the waiting just to be turned down at the end. I am a 24 year old female. I am a CPA who works for a firm in Detroit. I was convicted two weeks ago of Retail Fraud 3rd ($100), a misdemeanor. I had no priors, except for a handful of traffic tickets. Sentenced to $400 in fines, restitution (all paid in full today), as well as 8 months' probation. I am seriously concerned about my employer finding out about this conviction. As I work in the public accounting industry, thorough background checks are conducted when hired. I have only been with this firm since February, and I have no doubt that they would terminate me upon discovery that I have been convicted of a crime.
