Is there a better alternative to the DynoJet Power Commander?
It's a great piece of gear. I have dealt with them before and bringing out the laptop for tuning is so much nicer than the old days of jets and needle settings that it's amazing. Go on ebay and look up fuelmoto. They have the best prices and they will preload a map for you if you send them your modifications. That way, you are starting out at a good approximate baseline for further tuning. I don't have a single bad thing to say about my experience.
Do dynojet power commanders really give your r6s alot more power or horsepower?
Well they will add some horsepower, but what they really do are fine tune your fuel delivery.If you can get your bike put on a dyno you can look at the horsepower curve and see dips where the power and rpm fall off from lean spots.Then the tuner can use the power commander to adjust the fuel delivery to get rid of those flat spots.I have a power commander III on a harley but they work the same on any bike.You can go to their site and download a map for your bike with the mods you have made and then download that to the power commander.It will be close but still not as good as having it dyno tuned.Hope this info helps you.
