The books can't be gang related or sex related . Atleast thats how it is in state prison , you will have to contact them for information cause like i said , rules vary from unit to unit and jail to jail . If you want you could write her a letter telling her happy birthday and i donno about there but here you can send b-day cards . If she is gonna be in lock up for months or years , you can put money on her books for commisary and put money on her phone account so she can make phone calls . If you do that it will mean alot to her . Trust me . I not only work at a prison but i have a brother locked down at one .

Sending someone religious materials who isn't religious isn't going to make them religious or put a smile on their face.
