Can international student take k12 online high school?
Hello! I am a student in one of the K12 schools, I'm a US Student. There is a program for International Students, it's called the K12 International Academy. It is a private school, and you can earn your diploma through the program because it is accredited. The tuition for a full year is $6,995 in high school, which would be paid before school starts. Otherwise it is $3,499 per semester, which gets paid twice a school year. There is also a $200 registration fee. I can speak from experience, the K12 curriculum is really great. I am in one of their online public schools, and our curriculum is leaps and bounds above the schools around here. I've met (online) students from the iCademy and they all love the experience. I think it's a good investment, but you should definitely make sure it's what you want, and research the layout before you enroll. Good luck!

First of all, you need to look up NY homeschooling laws to see if you're allowed to go to an online school. Is online classes better than regular high school?
I started high school and i have been thinking about asking my parents if i could do online courses for highschool. I started school awhile ago and it is one of the worst things i have had to do. During my lunch break i have none of my friends. Every time i get there i become teary and of the verge of crying all day. When im there all i can think about is going home and wanting to see my mom. I am miserable there and i want to do my first year or semester doing online courses because i am smart enough to teach myself what i need to learn. Can anyone tell me what the benefits and disadvantages are of taking online homeschool courses?
