How can I find out my favorite color?
If you had a favorite color, I think you’d know it. Don’t sweat this. There is no reason that you must have a favorite color. Consider that there are many, many shades of each color. So for example, you may like heliotrope, a shade of purple, better than kelly green, but you might like kelly green more than grape, and so forth.You might also prefer one color or set of colors for one use and a different set of colors for another. As an example, I like sage green for wall paint, but I would not wear it as I look awful in it.Another thing to remember is that light can affect how colors look, as can proximity to other colors. Blue surrounded by black will look a little different than the same blue surrounded by white or orange. Colors have associations as well, and these can affect how one perceives them. For instance, do you like pink? What about Pepto-Bismol pink? Does light brown make you think of cognac or baby poop? Do you like puce? Probably not, just because of the name, even though you may not know what it actually looks like. (It’s reddish-purple mixed with gray or brown and encompasses a wide range of tones, some of which are quite lovely.)

My son's favorite color is pink?
My son (age three) has recently decided that his favorite color is pink. He has only been using his pink markers/crayons on every picture he has drawn lately, and he keeps asking me why he doesn't have any pink clothes. I think it isn't anything to worry about, but my husband is really freaking out.
