My dog poops in my car EVERY TIME I take her in there.?
This has been happening for about a month now. When I first got her, she peed in my car, and I understood that she was probably scared, so I saw it as nothing. Well, now she knows me, so I'm baffled at the fact that she poops EVERY TIME and I mean every time we're in the car. I usually take her for car rides when we're headed to the dog park for her to get some exercise. For example, today I took her out her crate to go potty and she did. I thought that she wouldn't need to poop because she had, already in the morning and wasn't showing signs of having to potty again. We got in the car and everything was going fine. Then about 5-10 minutes into the car ride she squats and poops in the car. I made it very clear to her that this is not acceptable behavior, but I don't think it got through to her. So, I had to turn around and head back home to clean up the mess in my car and my dog. I'm not sure why she chooses to poop in my car. Maybe she thinks I'm taking her back? Maybe she's too excited? Maybe she knows that if she poops in the car, I'll take her back home.
I have an 11-month old pug who pees and poops everywhere but the puppy pads. I don't want him to go outside.
Can you elaborate as to why you don't want your dog to learn to go outside? I am just curious. Training to use puppy pads can be very difficult. It is hard for the dog to understand that the pads are specifically for that purpose. To him they are just another surface in your house. Maybe put the pads in a low box or contain them in some way so it is really obvious that is a special area? Also if you move the pads around the house from room to room etc is makes it more difficult for them to learn. What you are doing with the treats and praise is great. Keep that up. If you can anticipate when he might need to go (when you are around obviously) put him on the leash and walk back and forth across the pads, eventually he'll go and then lots of treats etc. Crate training doesn't work for all dogs, but it is not cruel. Because your dog has learned he can go anywhere in the house the same applies to a crate. Patience and persistance will eventually pay off. Maybe consult with a trainer as well.
Why does my dog still poop in the house even when the door to the back yard is open?
If he knew he wasn't supposed to poop inside he wouldn't do it. He needs more housetraining. Just leaving the door open won't train him. The reason he puts his head down and hides is because he can read your body language and knows he's in trouble, he doesn't know why though. Unless you catch him in the act he won't relate the pooping inside with the fact that you're angry at him. Take no notice of anyone who tells you to hit the dog or put his nose in the accident. That's animal abuse and anyone who knows anything about dogs wouldn't suggest it. Responsible, caring dog owners do not hit their dogs.
Whenever i hold my toad it either pees or poops on me.....why?
My toad(Trooper) always pees or poops on me when I want to pick him up. Why does he do this? I also see him shake a little before he pees. Is this because he his scared or is it part of his adaptation? I am afraid he will die if he is too scared!!

Your dog has thunder phobia. Please consider consulting with your vet on the best course of treatment. If you aren't home frequently when storms hit, you may need to medicate the dog before you leave the house when storms are predicted. This will help reduce her anxiety and should also help with the fear elimination during the storms. Providing a safe place for her during the storms is also important. Why the hell do dogs poop and pee when scared?
My dog won't stop peeing and pooping when he's scared. Also, my boyfriend's dog ALWAYS pees when people pet him (he's a dachshund). So, you can imagine what it's like when that dumb dog meets someone new. My dog, on the other hand, will not ******* move when he's scared.. he will just sit there and poop and pee while you squirt water in his face or yell at him. Why the hell are my dogs so ******* dumb????? Oh yeah, and he barks at everything... like... he'll let you know when a leaf falls to the ground and stuff. We yell "Shut up!!" but he gets louder and doesn't stop... it's like "no" means "yes" and "yes" means "yes" also, to that damn dog. He's a little dachshund but his voice is louder that our big dog. He just won't hold anything in, whether it comes to his dumb barks or his dumb excrements.
