What Could The City Of Ferguson Mo Have Done Better

How long does it it take for mail to travel from jefferson city mo to st. louis mo?

It should take 1 to 2 days.

Which Zoo is better? The St Louis Zoo or the Kansas City Zoo?

St. Louis without a doubt. K.C. is bigger (as far as acreage) but St. Louis has TONS more animals plus they have a passenger train, ape house, snake house, tons of gift shops/snack shops and it's a VERY safe friendly environment. You will remember a trip to the St. Louis Zoo for a lifetime!

Heritage House.... Smorgasbord....??

try whitepages.com or citysearch.com they can tell you if they are still open!

How long does it take mail coming from St. Louis MO to Get to Gerald MO(about 80 miles West of St. Louis)?

Are there any good things to see on the way from Kansas City to St. Louis?

I live in the Chicago area but last year we vacationed in Saint Louis and we visited my Aunt and Uncle on the midpoint of I-70: Columbia. The drive is hillier than the mid section of Indiana and Illinois but yes not too much for corn. As for Columbia I was expecting a bigger city considering the University of Missouri is here. The population is listed around 63,000, but having lived in college during the 1990 census (taken in April) I found out that they count the college students living there at the time -- you cannot claim your hometown. So Columbia is a nice place, the people are exceptionally friendly, but there didn't seem like a lot to do.

That may be different this year considering Mizzou's surprise football season as they are one of the top teams this year.

I can't recommend the city museum in St Louis enough -- a beyond awesome use of artifacts into something amazing. We stayed at the Drury downtown, which was not terribly expensive, but allowed us to stay downtown. I will not be surprised of you go back for a second day, course our two 9-year olds insisted, and we were perfectly fine with that.

We found enough to do downtown that the car never left the garage. There was a shuttle bus from the hotel to many places including City Museum. Don't forget Union Station, plenty to do and places to eat. You will need the car to tour the Budweiser plant (we didn't but wanted to, ran out of time). Ted Drewes Custard the locals swear by, south side of the city I believe. We got a frozen sample in the hotel...it was good but I'm sure it's much better fresh.

Do the arch your first day, get it out of your system. Though we should had spent more time in the museum below. We were there in August so that is a good winter activity.

Have a great trip!
