What Difference Does Medical Anthropology Make To Human Culture Either

What is the difference between Anthroposophy and Anthropology?

Hello !

Anthroposophy is a spiritual science and philosophy. Anthropology is a science which studies human beings in a more Cartesian.

Anthroposophy is méthaphysique, while anthropology is more materialistic.

Anthroposophy is a current of thought and spirituality created in the early twentieth century by Rudolf Steiner. According to him it would be a science of mind, an attempt to study, test and describe spiritual phenomena with the same precision and clarity with which science investigates and describes the physical world. The use of the term "science" applied to this has been disputed by proponents of the scientific method.
The principles of anthroposophy have been applied in various fields, such as schools Steiner, biodynamic agriculture, anthroposophical medicine.
Anthroposophy should not be confused with anthropology, which is the empirical study of mankind and which belongs to the humanities.

Anthropology is the branch of science which studies human beings in all its aspects, both physical (anatomical, morphological and physiological evolutionary) and cultural (socio-religious, psychological, geographical, etc.).. It tends to define humanity by making a synthesis of various human and natural sciences. The term anthropology comes from two Greek words, anthropos meaning man (in the generic sense) and logos meaning study (or science).
This discipline is particularly anthropological facts, in other words that are specific to humans (such as homo or anthropos) compared to other animals and figurative language articulated, funeral rites, political or magical arts, religions, costumes, family, habitat, physical techniques, instrumental, memorization, counting, spatial and temporal representations, etc.. It relies on the comparative study of different societies and ethnic groups described by ethnology and considering the uniqueness of the human spirit through cultural diversity.

Have a good day!

Anthropology = cultural approach - Sociology = pscyhological approach?

Anthropology does take a historical approach, but sociology definately does not take a psychological approach. Sociology is never about the individual, which is all that psychology does. Both anthropology and sociology do focus on culture heavily.
