What Do You Think Of The Name Scarlett Clementine?

I LOVE IT. 10/10

What Do You Think Of These Names?

I like your unique style, it's nice to see different names on here instead of the same ones over and over. My top five girl names are:
Summer: Unique and pretty, love this! I wouldn't use Phoenix as the middle name as there is an actress named Summer Phoenix (sister of River Phoenix).
Saige: What a unique choice, I really like this, Saige Sophia is lovely.
Krista: I think Kristabella is a bit much but I really like Krista, it's a beautiful name and not super popular.
Ashyln Arabella: This combo is elegant and simply beautiful!!
Shelby Alexis: I've always thought Shelby had such spunk to it, and Alexis fits it perfectly.
Top five boy names:
Joseph Eric: My sons name is Joseph, so I'm not really a fair judge lol. Seriously though, this name is perfect, handsome and strong.
Hunter Jared: Wonderful choice! I think Hunter is a great guy name and I love that you paired it with Jared.
Nathan Kevin: Nathan is a great name, I'm not sure that Kevin flows that well, but it's not too bad. Nate is such a strong nickname.
Ryder Austin: This just sounds great together and both are two of my favorite names.
Tyler Adam: Tyler has been one of my favorites since I was little.Tyler Adam is a solid combo and I love that you choose middle names that are strong.
You've got some really great names lined up for your future kids!

What do you think of this rare name from colonial America?

1. I'd pronounce it eye-ZAN-nuh. Upon first glance, I might be tempted to pronounce it Iz(as in Isabella)-anna, but I've seen the name before.

2. Yes and no. In theory I do, but in reality it's not particularly appealing to me, for a few reasons.

The spelling: This is entirely a matter of opinion, but I generally prefer names without an -h on the end. For example, I love the name Susanna, but only without the -h. I would rather not use Susanna at all than spell it Susannah. Even though Isannah is different in that Isanna isn't a valid variant, the -h still detracts from its appeal. But this is an idiosyncrasy of mine and I suppose it wouldn't really matter to anyone else. Also, the spelling doesn't strike me as particularly aesthetic. Usually, this wouldn't bother me, as I'm a fan of "ugly" names like Ingrid and Bridget, but in this case, it does.

Secondly, while it's certainly an intriguing choice, it unfortunately sounds like (and is spelled like) a combination of Isabella and Hannah, two current top-ten names. I think the immediate assumption would be that the name is a made-up "unique" choice. That was actually my reaction when I first saw the name. It was only after I did some research that I discovered that it was actually legitimate. However, most people won't go home and look the name up, so that misconception may be fairly common.

Also, in my opinion, it doesn't age well. I can't picture it on a teenager, a young woman, or a middle-aged woman. For some reason, I see it on a little girl and an elderly lady, but I can't see in between.

The bottom line is that I don't really care for it. Not to say it's a bad name, because it isn't. It's actually just the kind of name I like; it has everything going for it. It's just one of those that I'd like to like but don't.

3. Isannah Katherine, Isannah Rosalind, Isannah Charlotte, Isannah Helen/e, Isannah Margaret, Isannah Alice, Isannah Blythe, and Isannah Maude sound pretty to me. I particularly like Isannah Blythe.

4. For sisters, I can see Isannah fitting right in with Abigail, Rosalind, and Celia/Cecilia. With boys, I can see Frederic/k, Warren, and Henry.

A similar one I just found is Isanne; it must be a variant. I will confess that I like Isanne a bit more than Isannah. They're both very interesting, though!

What do you think of these baby girl names?

I think Mina's cute, and actually I love Magdaline/Magdalene... although I prefer the "MAG-duh-len" pronunciation. It works better as a unique middle name.

Mitzi is better than Mitzie, but I don't love it.

Maren isn't bad... but it looks a little masculine, I think.

In short. I LOVE Silas. :)

Edit -- Sorry, I'm a smarty that forgot to answer the latter part of the question...

Langdon Thomas -- Not a fan. My neighbor was considering naming their baby this if she had been a boy... Langdon... hmm... haha

Stella Clementine Rae -- Love this one. Love Clementine in there. It really balances out the slight filler-ness of Rae. And Clementine is so underused. Stella is gorgeous.

Caitlyn Alexa June -- Lovely. Absolutely lovely. I love Alexa, and Caitlyn...my cousin's name (well, hers is Kaitlyn). Great choice.
