I am 13 years old, almost 14. And for my Language Arts class we need a silent reading book. 1) Yes, I have read all the Twilight books && 2) I read a lot. Also, it has to be within our lexile range. What is the theme of the book Someone To Love Me by Anne Schraff?
Its the story of a girl coming to terms with dying alone. She gets desperate not to be alone as she ages so she starts just dating anyone. This desperation just further drives people away and makes it even harder for her to find love. So then she becomes celibate and learns that the greatest love is that which a person can have for themself. But then as soon as she learned that she didn't need anyone she found the man of her dreams.
