Nope, my battery died on my SCRAM bracelet for a week and the bracelet did not monitor one bit. The bracelet died after I went floating the river, I got it a little wet and thought I fried it since you cant submerge it underwater, but later found out when I got back from vacation that the battery died. Needless to say I did however have some drinks, and nothing showed up on the system. So all you SCRAM bracelet wearers if you want to cheat the system just get the bracelet wet enough tell the battery fries then your good to go...lol.

I am not going to go on a morality kick here, but there have been countless attempts to get around that bracelet and none have been found yet to be effective without alerting that it has been altered. You have been given a chance by wearing this versus jail time. Only you can make your own decisions as to what is worthwhile. My only thought for you is to consider there is no happy hour when you are incarcerated, which if you insist on knocking down a couple of cold ones, you will wind up there. I am on house arrest and my po told me to charge the ankle monitor twice a day for 30 minutes so I've been charging it at 8 in the morning and 8 at night and at like 5:30 -6 it started viberating and so I plugged it in and the light was red and it's usually orange when I charge it then turns green after 30 minutes did it die or just need to be charged
