Does the evo pill actually work?
Bill is wrong but at the same time he is right. (assuming that there is an actual pill) Evo DOES work, but not because of its "formula" it works because it says it will. It is nothing more than an energy supplement that claims to be a brain enhancer. Because it works as an energy supplement (one of its many claims) you will believe that the other effects are present as well and thus they will be. It is a simple effect known as the placebo effect (my specialty) the fact that it works successfully as an energy supplement tricks you into believing that its actually working when its doing nothing but giving you an energy boost. Now after saying that their have been clinical trials of similar medicines that do work (not as well as Evo advertises) they do however boost retention, memory, and attention. But these pills have many (sometimes severe) side effects and are not worth taking but can still be prescribed by a doctor. But in reality it is probably a scam seeing as how the link to the so called "clinical trials" is nothing but an image and the terms and conditions, privacy statement, and so forth are all dead links (meaning they act like links but once clicked lead you nowhere). So I do apologize if you fell victim to this scam and there is no way to get your money back because it appears to be hosted in another country I would also recommend cancelling any credit/debit cards used to purchase the so called pills.
Is it bad to give ferrets fish oil pills?
Well I just recently gave each of my three ferrets one fish oil pill each(not the outer casing just the oil) to see if it would help with their itching but I've noticed their stool has been a bit runny and thought maybe it was the pills since I recently bought them Evo ferret food which is one of the best foods to feed them so I don't think that's the cause ....If anyone knows if its bad or good to give them fish oil that would be great because I don't wanting to be feeding it to them if its not good! Should EVO (E-Huperzine) pills be legal?
Although huperzine-A is currently available OTC, that doesn't mean it's an innocuous drug by any means. It's a pretty potent AChE inhibitor, and can produce parasympathomimetic effects such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, salivation, and lacrimation. It also produces bradycardia (slow heart rate), which can become dangerous if the drug is taken along with a beta-blocker or other anticholinergic drug like Bentyl (dicyclomine), or belladonna alkaloids. It's purported nootropic effect is due to its NMDA receptor agonist properties, which promote synaptic plasticity in memory-associated neuronal tissue. I've heard anecdotal reports from a couple of my students and residents thattaking the drug in combination with monosodium glutamate provides a noticeable improvement in memory. But until I've seen some phase-I trials and animal LD-50 studies, I'd fuhgeddabouddit.

What can I feed my dog that is allergic to starch?
I have an American Bulldog 100+lbs, he turns 4yrs next month, and ever since he was a puppy hes had this allergy, his skin just breaks out with blister like spots all around, the vet gave us allergy pills but it makes it even worst. we tried EVO but it got too expensive, he did good on Alpo for a while but the it got BAD to the point where he almost lost all his fur on his back, so switched to pedigree and it got better; we're still on it, but I want to change it again for a final time because it doesn't seem to satisfy him either that or he doesn't eat it. Any suggestions? Or does anyone's dog have this allergy problem? If so what helps them control it? Oh & we live in Hawaii so is the heat making it worst? Why do people hate snakes, and reptiles in general so much?
Its a very common misconception here.I'd go on to say that snakes are the most misunderstood animals in animal kingdom.There is a lot of mythology and folklore behind it.No other animals would you have so many myths associated more than snakes.They are said to be associated with evil and badness.Even Christianity has not spared the snakes!!!! Their appearance,their behavior,their characteristics are such that people are ready to associate them with evil.For example,they strike venom,and venom means poison and since its possessed by snakes, we are immediate to jump to a conclusion that snakes have venom are devil having all bad qualities in the form of venom.They kill for pleasure, they kill the victim and climb a tree to watch the funeral pyre,they take revenge when you kill their partner!!!,and so on!! But facts have proven all this wrong - snakes are actually man's friend,they help to keep check of rodents population which are responsible for causing havoc and diseases to man.The number of deaths caused by rat related diseases or far more than number of deaths caused caused snake bite.Most cases of snake bites occur only when people try to kill it or try to handle it.If you leave it,it wont mess with you.The chance of you getting bitten by a snake when you accidentally trample on it is just 5%.Snake venom is used in many medicines and used in the treatment of many disorders like hemorrhage .So dont you think snakes need to be taken care and respected more than what they are done so far?
