What Is The Average Cost For Motorcycle Insurance For 25 Years And Older In Florida

Whats the average motorcycle insurance cost for an 18 year old guy?

depends entirely on your level of coverage, but on that bike, with GOOD personal injury/uninsured motorist coverage, and only liability on teh bike itself, you can't be looking at more than $500/year.

this is assuming you don't have multiple tickets and accidents to inflate your rates.

my advice to you is to only carry liability on your bike. No offense, but it's probably only worth a couple grand, unless you got a brand new model... So if you crash it, and you're at fault, just expect to buy a new bike, rather than paying a $500 deductible, and having your rates skyrocket.

get GOOD injury protection. you need to protect YOU more than the bike. $300k in un-insured/under-insured motorist coverage doesn't inflate your rates that much.

your rate should also go down every year you ride incident-free.

Motorcycle insurance for a 19 year old?

Why ask out wild hare guesses when it is easy for you to get an quote from a insurance company such as: http://www.progressive.com/ Then check how much it would look for cheaper bike, such as a Suzuki S40.

How much for motorcycle insurance on a 19 year old?

Since it's a 250 your insurance shouldn't be that bad. Since it's only a $3000 bike, you might want to get liability insurance only.
You can probably get it for less than $300 a year.
Try progressive - they're cheap.

What is the average cost of sr-22 insurance ??

An SR-22 is ONLY a "little pink 3x5 piece of paper" that gets filed with your State Department of Motor Vehicles (or Safety Responsibility bureau) depending on WHERE you live.

Look around for an independent agent in your area that "specializes" in auto insurance - they will normally be the guys with the BIG YELLOW PAGE ADS that tend to shout out at you.......

Some companies only charge about $40-$50 ABOVE AND BEYOND the cost of the liability insurance for the SR-22 filing.

Good luck - it's NOT the end of the world!

Motorcycle Insurance (600cc vs 750cc)?

I am picking up a new sportbike (Suzuki GSX-R) here in a couple weeks and I was wondering the average cost of motorcycle insurance per month (or year if you pay gross). The bike will be totally paid off when I purchase.
Thank you for your time,
Kevin
BTW: I am 25yrs old in Florida. It will be either a 600cc or 750cc.

Tell me about your motorcycle insurance.?

Well, answers are going to be all over the place. What Kind of bike, what kind of coverage, age, driving record and where do they live? I'll tell you right now if your thinking of buying any kind of super sport bike, ninja, Honda CBR, suzuki gsx etc, get ready for sticker shock. Very High risk, and if you are young, forget it. I've quoted 20 yr olds who buy bikes like this as high as 11,000 for a year- seriously! In fact, many bike makers now offer credit cards so they can sell you the bike with no lien, thus enabling you to carry liability only, and making it affordable- but do you really want no coverage for that 10,000 dollar bike you just bought? what if it's stolen, what if you crash it? On the other hand, I've seen policy for as little as 125 for the year- liability only on a standard bike- think honda rebel.

Do you need insurance for motorcycle if under 21?

As stated above you don't need insurance. I'm in the same shoes as you, 18 and live in Orlando, Florida. It's just great to have because you have to be able to have the money if you get into an accident.

When you register the bike they don't ask for insurance or anything, just for the title and your license. Also, you get a "special" license plate because you're under 21. It says in big bright red underneath the tag "UNDER 21".

Also, when a cop pulled me over he just asked for my license and registration.
