Is there any way of recording gameplay off my xbox 360 without a dazzle capture card?

You can use a HD cam corder and set it infront of the T.V which is mad ghetto. But if you have a few dollars to spare instead of 100 and something dollars for a dazzle then check out Easy Cap USB
All you do is put the video cords in like you would with turtle beach's and go into windows movie maker and select CAPTURE FROM DEVICE. The olny downside about this product is you can only watch yourself play on your computer screen in movie make. But if its a tutorial or something this is great!

You can get this product off of ebay. Here's a link for ya:

How do I record xbox 360 gameplay and live commentary at the same time?

Your capturing program might have a thing that lets you add in audio at the same time your recording.

Is a Lenovo G500 laptop good for capturing gameplay and editing?

I just recently picked up and Elgato Capture Card and was going to record gameplay on my Xbox 360 but my laptop that I had didn't have the right requirements needed to record gameplay. It was also really laggy and slow. I am thinking of buying a Lenovo G500 to capture gameplay and to edit videos. Is that laptop compatible with my Elgato Capture Card and able to edit videos without any lag ? It has a Processor of "Intel 3rd generation core i3. Its processor speed is "2.4GHz". It has 4Gb of RAM and 1TB Hard Drive. Under Graphics it says "Intel Hd Graphics 4000. The price of the laptop is $449.99 Is the Specifications good enough to record and edit videos ? Thank you.

Is this computer good for recording gameplay? (specs)?

So I'm looking at this computer on eBay. I like it. It's decently priced at $449. Would it be good for gameplay and recording said gameplay? It's a laptop. I know laptops aren't the best for games and all but it's all I can do. Plus I want to be a writer and blogger. My computer finally have out. Anyways I would record using fraps and I would record to an external 5TB harddrive that I have to help the computer run faster while fraps is on due to the high file size cause fraps doesn't compress the videos. But I use headphones and play at the same time so fraps is pretty much ideal. Anyways here are the specs. I'm not worried about much other than the processor speed. That's what I'm worried about. Other than that it's all fine.
Processor AMD Quad Core A8-5545M 1.7 GHz
Hard Drive 1TB Hard Drive
Memory 8GB DDR3 SD RAM
Screen Size 15.6" HD Backlit Display
Optical Drive Super Multi DVD-RW
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 8510G
LAN 10/100 T-Base Mbps Ethernet
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN

As you can see the specs I don't think they're terrible. I wouldn't really record newer games. More like age of empires, minecraft, diablo 1 and 2. Older type of games and some emulators for Walkthroughs. No call of duty or anything hard core. Thoughts and suggestions? I'm on a budget so this is pretty much my max. Thanks!
