What are the landforms in toronto, Canada?

Landforms? In Toronto, Canada? It's kind of difficult to identify geographical landforms in the Greater Toronto Area, (GTA), because it's a densely populated metropolis (it is, after all, the largest city in Canada). Although, about thirty minutes north of Toronto there's a fairly well-known land form (here in Toronto), known as the Oak Ridges Moraine.

In terms of the climate, we have summers that can be over 30ºC, (86ºF), and winters that can go below -20ºC, (-4ºF). In the fall/autumn, we have maple trees with leaves that turn many different colours, (e.g. orange, red, yellow, etc.), it's pretty beautiful, but you probably have to leave the core of the GTA to admire this. In the spring it's kind of warm and comfortable, (for me, anyway).

Anything else you'd like to know about Toronto?

What landform region is the geological foundation of Canada?

The geological foundation of Canada (and all of North America) is the Canadian Shield, a region of highly folded and metamorphosed precambrian rock in Central/Southern Canada around the Hudson Bay and Great lakes that formed the basis for the North American continent. it constitutes some of the world's oldest rocks that could be over 4.2 billion years old.
