What Mmo Should I Play

What are the best mmorpg games to play?

I've been looking for mmo/mmorpgs to play "Free" of course, but I'm looking a a game to keep be busy for a while cause I tend to get bored really quick and look for other games to play. So if anyone knows of any great, fun and time consuming games please let me know thanks :D

Should I play the MMO Rift?

I used to be VERY deep in the MMO genre and I played the Rift beta. Let me tell you, it's nothing special. Rift, from what I've heard, is nearly completely dead after only 2 years so sadly, I can't say it's worth playing.

Obviously World of Warcraft is the biggest MMO and longest lasting and even though I haven't played it in almost 3 years now, I would still recommend playing it. If you want an MMO with a strong community and long jeopardy, then WoW is the way to go. Obviously WoW is also nearly 10 years old too but the Cataclysm expansion revamped the oldest areas so they're looking pretty smooth. A lot of good story coming up for max level players right now too. I am thinking of starting it back up just to play the new story and take down the horde leader.

Otherwise, for now, there is only GW2 or Eve online. I've played GW2 a bit and it's good, but you need a reasonably good computer to play it at a nice framerate. It looks great too but it doesn't have the character customisation of WoW and the combat, though much more movement orientated, actually ends up being repetitive in the end. WoW has way more spells and combinations for each class and specialisation than GW2 does so I always found the combat much more interesting in WoW. Eve is one that I haven't played but it's supposedly extremely good. People get VERY into eve and if you need a time sink, that'd be the game to play. It's a different type of game entirely, not really an RPG like rift, wow or gw2 and it's much more... dynamic.

Honestly, we've gotta wait until Blizzards new 'next gen MMO', Project Titan or until The Elder Scrolls Online comes out because they're the only two that I feel might have a chance at outlasting WoW's remaining life span.

In summary, Rift isn't worth playing as it's basically a crappier version of WoW mixed weakly with GW2's dynamic events system and of course, less players.

What MMORPGs should I play in 2018?

I strongly recommend PUBG!As for me, this game will be always popular!

MMO that doesn't play itself for you?

Well, according to your expectations, the MMOs list is dramatically narrowed down. The only MMO i've played that requires one hundred percent of the gamer's participation, is Age of Conan. It has a unique combat system, unlike other MMOs, that require you to pay attention at your enemy, while choosing where to strike them (Upper, Lower or Mid strike). Plus the graphics are the best eye candy i have seen in the mmo i have played. However, it's all a matter of preferences. For example me, i like less dynamic games, like WoW, etc.

Can you play the MMO lineage 2 offline?

im not tryin to be a dick but how stupid can i be? i know what MMO stands for and i know the "definition of online games" i was simply wondering because some games have an offline mirror of the online version and i was simply trying to tell if lineage or any others had it. understandably you were just trying to help but please dont assume that im completely ignorant just because i had a question. And ive beaten both morrowind and oblivion multiple times, which is why i didnt ask about rpgs, only mmos. for future referance, a simple "no you cant" would have probobly gotten best answer because thats all that i was looking for

Why do people play MMORPGs?

If you look at all the more popular video games most of them that come to mind are shooters.BattlefieldCall of dutyHaloGears of warTomb raiderFar cryBattlefrontNow mind you some of these games are a little more in depth and offer vast amounts of gameplay but they are all shooters regardless.Mmorpgs takes things that these above games do so well and expand it. They have quests and stories that will take you hundreds of hours to complete. They have massive loot systems that reward you for playing and sometimes that loot can take hours upon hours to get. They also have enormous worlds for you to explore and you can take your friends with you.Did I mention you could take your friends with you? One of the greatest things about these types of games is the friendships and bonds that are made. People coming together to form teams from all over the world just to kill a dragon or some other demonic creature.I've actually heard of people meeting the love of there life on these games.3 Couples Talk About How World of Warcraft Brought Them TogetherI've also heard of some darker stories that have happened in these games. At war with World of Warcraft: an addict tells his storyAnother story that comes to mind is about a player that pretended to be some guys friend just so that he could steal his ship. It sounds very childish but apparently it took months for all of it to happen and the ship he had his eyes on was very expensive. All of it was well planned out.How an EVE Online con artist tricked a ruthless pirate into giving him his priceless shipAll of these things combine to make mmorpgs unique, I'm willing to bet you won't find any of this stuff happening in call of duty.

What MMORPG game do you play most often now?

Thanks for the A2AWithout a doubt, Guild Wars 2I have been a long time MMO player, having played a LOT of games. World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Final Fantasy XIV, Rift and Maple Story being some of the other big ones. The highlightsFree to play, base game is now free, but the two expansions are notMicrotransactions for Gems, not necessary for anything really but useful for vanity stuff and buying extra bag slots. In game gold can also be traded for gems.5 playable races, 9 classes, 3 in-game orders to joinPlayer Vs Player and World Vs World (Server Vs Server) combat systems have their own dedicated servers.Game has been balanced so that you are almost never unhappy to see another player.Loot is instanced individually so there is no issues with ‘Loot Ninjas’Mounts and Gliders are now a thingWith each expansion, each of the classes gained a specialisation to further increase game play varietyHUGE amount of content (I estimate about the same over all as World of Warcraft up to and including the Cataclysm expansion.

I have never played an MMORPG, but I want to start now, which game should I start with?

Most of the mentioned games aren't actually MMORPGs. Before you get into it, I hope you understand that MMORPGs aren't for everyone and you know what you're getting yourself into. With that said, Guild Wars 2 has a big open world and features a laid back combat system. Tera and Blade and Soul are also good MMOs if you're looking for more action based combat. If you're willing to pay, Final Fantasy XIV a realm reborn is a very high quality mmorpg but expensive. World of warcraft is also an option.
