What Pop Singers Live In The Uk

What is the biggest source of revenue for pop singers?

This is a very easy question to answer... Live shows, hands down.A pop singer with 1 good hit can bring in $50k plus a night.  With more than 1 hit they can make 6 figures.   On a Rihanna/Chris Brown level you can expect half a million easily. On a Pink/Gaga level it can top 1 million. Those comparisons are for current pop singers.  Keep in mind that if your pop career lasts over a decade you can virtually count on making over half a million a night for the rest of your life ala Lionel Ritchie, Cher, Madonna, Sir Elton. There are no royalties from sales, merch or publishing that can compete with this type of revenue.

What's the difference between the UK Pop Idol and the X Factor in the UK?

Pop Idol stopped about 5 years ago and like a year later the X factor started, they are pretty much the same set up but the X factor includes anyone over the age of 14 and groups. The judges (simon Cowell, Louis walsh, Cheryl cole and dannii minouge) also mentor one of four categories that the acts are put into per year (Over 25s, groups, under 25 girls, under 25 boys)anyone of the 12 acts in the start of the live shows can win it, one act is evicted per week.

Its like american idol but groups can audition and simon cowell is exactly the same on it!

Leona Lewis won in 2006 when she was mentored by Simon Cowell

We also have Britains got talent, like americas got talent which is open to absolutely ANYONE, but unusual singers (like kids or opera singers) tend to do BGT as opposed to X factor coz they have a better chance

Is there a difference between Taylor Swift's US and UK versions of songs?

I'm not 100% positive, but I really, highly doubt they are different. Sometimes Taylor Swift does make two different versions of songs~ for example, there is "Teardrops On My Guitar" and "Teardrops On My Guitar Pop Version," but I live in the US, and we have both versions. So, I don't think the version would change based on the country.
Also, I doubt there would be a difference because you would see multiple versions on websites like youtube or itunes, and I can only find one version of "Mine".

Hope this helps!!! Can't wait until Speak Now comes out on October 25th!!! Taylor Swift is so awesome! :)

Do you know a hilarious pop singer whose initials are R.S.?

This is the great pop-rock singer from the USA-Rod Stewart.

Is there a Blink-182 equivalent in UK?

By similar genre and format as Blink 182 I'm guessing you mean a pop punk/punk rock band with three members and two co-lead singers. While after doing a quick search to refresh my memory of U.K. pop punk bands I don't think there is any that fit the same format as them. However, the bands Moose Blood and Neck Deep have a somewhat similar sound. Both bands clearly have been influence by Blink 182 as they have a similar style. While they are both leaning more towards the pop punk side of things, oppose to punk rock they have many similar qualities to Blink 182 and in my opinion are both pretty good bands.Having seen both Blink 182 and Neck Deep live I can say that they are a somewhat similar experience, with both bands playing with a lot of energy. In conclusion, Neck Deep and Moose Blood are similar to your description of U.K. bands similar to a Blink 182.

Does American singer/actress Jessica Simpson's real life family originally come from England?

“Does American singer/actress Jessica Simpson’s real life originally come from England?”Excuse me, what?Looking at the question, it is clear that you know that she is American (at least that’s how I interpret the “American singer/actress” bit). And, by “real life” I’m gonna go ahead and assume you mean her offstage/offscreen life. So, what do you mean in asking if it comes from England? Is she English (born in England)? No, she is not.Did she get her big break in England? No, she did not.Does she currently live in England? Not unless Texas is currently in England.Did her debut single do well in the UK? Actually yes. Yes it did.I believe this question might be missing a word or two, or if not, I hope this answer satisfies.Have a good day sir/madam.
