I remember the hole in the ozone layer, as a frightened child ... luckily, it was filled in by everyone buying a new fridge (they didn't even need a scrappage scheme!) ... Acid rain was meant to strip all the trees down to a shattered husk ... I can't remember what we were told to buy to stop that one, but it obviously worked ...
