Good laptop for college student?
For your best bet, I highly recommend Dell. They have few problems, and cost little to repair versus most other brands. I have a Dell Latitude C600 that I have had since they came out, and never had a single problem with it, even when I went from Win2000 Pro to XP it functions well. Stay away from Compaq! Good laptop for a teen that can hold lots of music?
I really want a laptop for christmas, but i dont want it to be a piece of crap thats really slow and doesn't hold alot of stuff. im not good at technical stuff so i don't really understand like "oh this laptop holds 3gb of memory, this one holds 8gb", so can someone just suggest a good laptop that can: -hold a lot of music (my ipod had roughly about 400 songs, and i still have a huge list of some i want to download -hold a lot of pictures -have fast internet (i haaate waiting for internet. especially for youtube, which im on alot) -has programs like microsoft word & powerpoint for school -can handle alot of downloads without screwing up im only in highschool so i dont need anything super expensive or fancy...my budget is around 500.
