When Does One Piece Get Interesting

When does One piece get interesting?

Don't listen to Alexander. He's an idiot. One Piece is rated one of the top 3 ongoing anime next to a Bleach and Naruto. One Piece gets better as Luffy and his growing crew make it into The Grand Line. The animations and art improve as well. One Piece has a lot of unique characters that you begin to meet after The Strawhats make it into The Grand Line. One thing you'll notice is that a lot of the villains have strange and unique laughs. They also look strange. That's what makes One Piece so unique and fun to watch compared to other anime. I hope you keep watching it. It has an excellent story and character development.

When does One Piece anime get interesting?

@ futurama - actually he/she is in crocodile arc now

i found when i watched it that it is WAY too drawn out and its done like that on purpose just look at intro its a full 3+min song then 3-5mins of previous episodes recap its a badly designed anime

in saying that it has its good part and the fights are fun to watch here is a link showing the episode arcs http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_Guide i thought alabasta arc was mediocre only up side of it for me was crocodile and MR dancing queen

if you want to see its best parts check out the CP9 arc and the whitebeard arc they were both amazing use the episode guide to skip filler content and if your like me and cant stand when they just stand around for 4 eps straight skip to when it gets better

it is a series worth watching just not every episode cause alot is just time wasting crap

for CP9 arc watch from water7 onwards before that is crap
the skypiea arc was good but it drags on way too much
for whitebeard arc watch Sabaody Archipelago onwards since it introduces you to future straw hat rivals/allies marineford is prob best arc out of whole series i hardly skipped any eps in it compared to thrillerbark where i skipped most cause it was boring

stick with it just dont feel the need to watch every ep out of 600+ watch what you like and if the current arc isnt doing it for you skip some eps or the whole arc there is definitely enuf eps to watch

When does One Piece get better?

Yes, keep watching. Many people (from my experience) tend not to find the series all too interesting at least until the Arlong Park arc (which will be the arc after the next, aka starting episode 31 - but don't skip any episodes (except maybe fillers) to get there). If you're still bored out of your mind and didn't find anything interesting at all by the time they pass Reverse Mountain (ending episode 63), then you can drop the series.

At what episode does One Piece start getting interesting?

So you have met with all the crewmembers so far even in the latest manga. That is great, and you have seen all their history and what they had to go through, that's great. But you have not seen Luffy's history yet, the only time you saw so far it was with Shanks.

After the war you will get to see more of Luffy's history and how he and Ace became brothers, there is an addional brother but he was supposedly killed which made Luffy want to become stronger so he can protect his nakamas.

After that flashback, timeskip begins and you get to see Luffy one hit KO a pacifista when in the past the whole crew had trouble going up against it.

Then they finally reach the New World!!!

If I had to say, the old world was just a test to see how strong the strawhat pirates are. Now the real fighting begins. They are currently going up against doflamingo, and you know his strings will cut through anything!! He is by far the top shichibukai, he can even take on Admiral Levels. I personally think the only other shichibukai capable of competing with doflamingo is Hawkeyes.

Why is one piece so boring!?

I'm on episode 71 of one piece and I can't help comparing it to other anime. In other anime, (naruto fairy tail, heck even bleach) there's an interesting start to the episode, something that pulls you into it. In one piece, there's some utter bullcrap that they think is exciting, such as this episodes start "The giants Dory and Broggy". The names are cliche, the plot is boring, the art is weird, yet people have the gull to say it's better then naruto? Or even Fairy Tail? One piece is complete garbage to me. Some bits were interesting (Arlong was the best, this arc is alright but it seems like all this stuff is filler when it's canon) but it's overall rubbish. If you think it's good, what episode should I start watching? Are the current episodes filler? Why is it worth watching, what's a good arc I should watch?

When will One Piece start to get fun?

I always thought One Piece was for kids (I’m 35 yo btw), but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I held off watching it for a long time but decided to finally give it a try. It immediately changed my mind within the first 4 episodes when an enemy was shot point blank range in head (saying to myself, this is def not just for kids). It def starts off slow, no denying that, but slowly, and steadily get better, and better, and better… to the point where I can now say it is my favorite anime of all time (and I’ve been watching anime steadily for over 20 years). If you’re into action, stick with it, the “Wars” which everyone loves typically starts in 300 hundreds or so, but it is well worth it, and get better yet again from there.Best part of One Piece for me, no romance between characters. I know some people love it, but I think it just ruins any show/anime for me. With that being said, you will cry, laugh, smile, and feel every other emotion during this adventure. And what an adventure it is!Stick with it… and it you will be rewarded!

In One Piece in Dressrosa Arc, from which episode does things start to get interesting and fast paced?

If you're an anime-only watcher, then I 'm sorry to say that it's not going to get better or fast paced. Toei animation has no intention of making seasonal fillers or giving the anime a seasonal break. As an effect, the pacing of almost every episode onward will suffer due to forcefully extending scenes and plot points using editing tricks.Every arc onwards gets better than the previous one in the manga, but the arc after Dressrosa turned out to be the worst arc in the anime. If you don't mind the slog, you can keep watching the anime, but my highest recommendation would be to check out the manga.

Will one piece get better?

Umm... In My Opinion One Piece is One of the Best Anime I have ever seen!! And yes it does start out kind of slow.. and yes the animation isnt the best (although done intentionally)... But it is such a great Anime overall... The action really doesnt start until Luffy meets Zorro (Episode 2)... But I had your same problem when I first watch it (actually exactly the same)... I watched a brief portion of the 1st ep and stopped because I couldnt get into it... but then when I sat down a week later and really started watching it... I think I stayed up for 2 weeks straight watching all 400 some episodes LOL... But yea it will start of a little slowly.. but give it a chance.. It is an Anime WORTH watching...

But all in all... It is a matter of Opinion... If you cant get into it after like 30 episodes.. u probably wont like the series... But Please give it a try!!

I hope this Helped U out!!

One piece- After Usopp leaves with Luffy and others defeating kurahadol, is Kaya, usopp's crew mentioned again?

Yep! On Volume 45 Chapter 440 after Usopp and others Straw Hat Crew received a bounty, they showed some of the villagers (Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Nami etc) reaction after seeing the bounty.

They showed Kaya and Usopp crew on that chapter.

Yeah! They get better! Don't worry! Sure they start off with a silly villain, but they'll get serious later on the series. After this you'll get to see Luffy finding and trying to recruited a cook. Read the past story of the cook. He has some tragic past!

Later you'll get to Arlong arcs. This one start it all. Cool villain finally! The past story of Nami really tragic though. TT^TT

They keep getting better and better. Alabasta arc, Gold Village arc, Water Seven arc, CP9 arc, Thriller Bark, ark, just to name a few are the serious arc in this manga. Not saying the others are not, but those that I listed will touched your heart.

When you read the manga, make sure to pay attention to the short chapter (the one that Oda draw on page 1 in each chapter). They contained a hidden future plot & storyline. What you see from that short chapter will be used for the future plot.

Since you watch the anime, I highly suggest you to watch the dubbed version. People thought One Piece is a silly series because they watched dubbed episode. If I'm not mistaken, the anime censored/edited the series. They made them like a stupid annoying cartoon.

Scene they edited
*****Spoiler warning*********

Sanji past story
On the dubbed anime, Zeff lose his right leg because of an accident on the ocean when trying to save Sanji.

On the manga/original anime. He lose his right leg because he cut off his own leg, and then he eat his own leg to avoid starvation!

Edit*
Ah! Thank god you're watching subbed! XD
Now you can enjoy the series better! Oh yeah, you might get chapter 440 (the one I mentioned above) on episode 324 (if I'm not mistaken)
