When I Search My Messages It Only Shows Me Results From The Last Week. Why

Why won't Google Calendar show all of the results of the searches in my calendar?

At long last, it appears that Google has fixed this problem, and now when you search you will get matches since the beginning of time. So — if you are having a problem like this, my answer is no longer a solution! What you need to do is click the starting date in the "mini-calendar" in the upper-left.Example:1. Let us say that it is December 11, 2014. You go to your calendar, and the mini-calendar (upper left) is showing the small grid for December 2014.2. Enter your search criteria. [Note: you can also try the more detailed "search options," but in my experience, the start/end dates will be ignored. Still, you can constrain your search to a specific calendar.]3. Click the magnifying glass to start the search4. You will see incomplete results.5. Change the month displayed in the mini-calendar (upper left) to January 2014. Now click the "1" for January 1. You should now see matches from that date.

Why does the search on my Yahoo email only show me results for the last couple of months?

There is something definitely wrong, Yahoo recently changed to unlimited storage so NO mail should be dropped. How many items are you showing in your mailbox? I seem to have lost everything from before last Monday. I have read of this sort of this happening to gmail. I have never had a bit of trouble with Yahoo mail (since about 2001), until now. I sent off an e-mail to support, so far, no answer and their offices are closed until Monday.

Why do the search results in LinkedIn show up as a LinkedIn Member?

If the person is outside of your 3rd degree network (outside of your connection’ s connection’s connections), then you do not have access to their information on LinkedIn unless you use a tool like LinkedIn Sales Navigator where you can unlock profiles that are outside of your 3rd degree network.

Why do no results appear when I search in YouTube? How do I fix it?

Why does a Yahoo Mail search only show emails from the current month?

I had same issue. So I chatted with Yahoo customer service (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/forms_index.html). The agent looked at my account, did something, and then told me to wait 24 hours before logging on again. I did, and it worked! He said that if it happens again, I should chat with their customer support again.

How do you search YouTube results by oldest video?

After you perform a search, sort by upload date (Sort options > Sort by > Upload date).

Look at the URL:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=videos&search_query=YouTube&search_sort=video_date_uploaded ...

In the URL, look at video_date_uploaded.
To sort by oldest, add _reverse at the end of video_date_uploaded: It will look like: video_date_uploaded_reverse

The URL will look like this:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=videos&search_query=YouTube&search_sort=video_date_uploaded_reverse ...

Yahoo mail search not working and hasn't been for weeks?

I was able to get it fixed by going to the following URL and reporting my exact problem.

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/help_s.html

From what I've found on forums and blogs this has been a known problem for years, and there hasn't been any overarching fix. The bug seems to affect users on a random basis, but once they know it is affecting your mailbox, it is a fairly easy fix.

In other words, Arnold, the person you chatted with was lying. I would send in a bug report using the form I linked above or I doubt anything is going to get done.

They contacted me about 12 hours after submitting the help request and asked for more information. I sent an answer, and they responded the next day saying that the "investigation" had been completed and my mail search should work fine in 48 hours or less. The fix appears to have worked and my search bar is fine now. Thank you for your answers and I hope my experience can help you all get through to Yahoo.

Email search is not working - keeps returning "No Results found"?

I'm trying to search on the following attributes:

- Sender Name
- Text either in the Subjetc Field or in the Message Body field

Both returns the "No Results found" page. This is despite the fact I know the data/content exists. FOr example, I search for a sender who I can already see in my INBOX, but even then, the search returns "No Results found".

What happened? The search facility used to be great. It would return all messages matching the search result regardless of the folder I had filed it in. Now I get nothing.
