How can a number not be traced from a text message?
The only real way to do that is using the internet. Most cell phone providers have a text website (example: vtext.com for verizon) that allows you to send a text either directly from that website or through an email account. You can make a fake email account for free the yahoo or gmail then send from their. Their is no block function for texting.
I keep getting a hidden sender address text on my phone?
Hi there, I have the same issue. From my experience, I get this message when someone tries to send me a MMS message, and does not download successfully. And I do get this message a lot, its frustrating. Once I get this message, I won't be able to retrieve what my friend sent me. At first I thought this might be a network issue (since you would have to use your network's data connection to retrieve/download MMS messages) but now I believe this might be an Android OS issue. I have sent a bug report on Google which can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=14512 Do me a favor and click on the star -- this means you are also having the same problem. More stars we get the more chance that Google will take a look into it. I have a Nexus One with Froyo btw.
Sent as text or iMessage?
iMessage only works if your phone has an Internet connection at the time of the text. This means that if you have no Internet connection, your text will be sent as a SMS message, instead if an iMessage one. However, if someone else with an iPhone texts you when you don't have Internet, you will receive it as an SMS message. You only send and receive iMessages when both of you are connected to wifi. When you turn off your 3G, roaming, and data streaming, you can only receive messages via iMessage with wifi. If you completely turn off wifi and 3G (as in putting your phone in airplane mode) you cannot receive any texts at all. Turning your phone off will also prevent messages from coming in. There is no prompt option to send a message via iMessage or standard SMS, it is done automatically based on your wifi connection. As a tip, iMessage messages contain blue text bubbles, while SMS messages are green. Hope I helped!
Why is the text of some messages sent from AOL invisible in Yahoo Mail?
Your PC needs encoding. = Select any email where the header information is displayed, but there is nothing in the "body" of the message where you would expect to find text, etc. Move your mouse to the area of the expected "body" of the message and right-click...on the menu that appears, click on "Encoding"...on the menu that appears, if "Auto Select" has a check mark, leave it as is...if not click "Auto Select"; then this menu will disappear...right click again in the "body" to cause the same menu to display again...then click on "Western European (Windows)"...you should now be able to view the "body" of all messages that you couldn't view before...obviously, if the problem somehow occurs again, do the same procedure described above again. I have no idea how or why these settings get "changed" or "corrupted" after everyday use, but apparently they sometimes do.

Go to the list of messages. Then press erase at the bottom of the screen. Check mark the text that u wanna erase.
