I can't send an email! Yahoo says, "Your message was not sent." Help?

Okay so this is really bothering me a lot! Yahoo doesn't let me send an email for almost a week now! And it's really annoying. :| At first after I send an email it lets me enter the words in the verification box, I entered them correctly, then after pressing "Continue" this is what the error says:

Your message was not sent

The message you composed has not been sent. Such message blocks are usually caused by sending a message whose content has triggered our spam filters, or by sending to too many recipients at a given time. We encourage you to carefully review the recipient list and contents (including URLs therein) of your message before attempting to resend it.

If you think that you received this message in error, or are receiving it persistently, please read this FAQ for more information and to request Customer Care assistance.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

PLEASE HELP?

Both Gmail and Yahoo mail not allowing me to send to Craigslist email addresses?

I am also having this issue. The email like is RED and says "invalid email" I think it might have something to do with the % in the email address. I am going ot try to take this out and see if it works. On a side note the "about" section also has a slew of % in the " pool%table%8ft%free%come%get% dont know what is up with the %'s!? Anyway that is all i got at this point.

To the other people, its NOT a fake address. There IS something wrong with the way its re-directing or something. Because it is on EVERY single add that i try to respond too. In Firefox, chrome, IE. Therefore it CANNOT be a hacker or spammer or fake address being posted. Its something else.

Can't get into email says account does not exist?

Hi, Try a different Internet Browser or Contact Yahoo by Email.

This can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes.

Click on Yahoo Mail, or whatever one is best for you, you can also click on the arrows for more options, or type your problem in the Search Help box.

Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care.

Click on Category, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category.
Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter.

Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you should then see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations.

There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your account.

Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one.

You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions.

They only need this other email address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account.

You will be asked to create a new password, Best a hard to Guess One for anyone trying to access your Yahoo Account.

I Would Also Strongly advise that you register your Mobile Number/Cell Phone Number with Yahoo, that is done through Account Settings.

That way if your account is hacked a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone for you to then unlock your email account.

Good Luck
Claire

Can't send gmail emails? #103?

1. According to a user in a Google groups post dated August 8th of this year, check you Sent Mail - when I did the emails I was trying to send were actually there, evidently sent despite the error message
2. The Gmail Help Center suggested I try a) logging in at https://mail.google.com while they were looking at the issue or possibly b) using “old” style Basic HTML Gmail if the problem persisted.

How do I configure Yahoo mail in the Gmail app of Android?

You're good to go!Thank you for asking to answer.

How do you fix Yahoo Mail that is not receiving email?

Hi there!Not getting the emails you expect is frustrating. How do I send mail using linux terminal?

I don't know about the Google security stuff, but if Google is blowing off sendmail, it'll reject a big percentage of the world's email.And the way I'm doing it is very "old school" but works quite well for us at least...Assuming you have an outside connection on an Linux box, you can send mail simply by doing something likeMAILER=/usr/sbin/sendmail
LIST=
ENCODER=uuencode
FROM_USER=
SUBJECT="your subject"
TODAYSDATE=`date1`
MY_OUTPUT=

(echo "To: $LIST" ; \
echo "From: $FROM_USER" ; \
echo "Reply-To: $FROM_USER" ; \
echo "Subject: $SUBJECT" ; echo ; echo "Report for $TODAYSDATE"; \
$ENCODER $MY_OUTPUT `basename $MY_OUTPUT`; \
) | $MAILER $LIST
The lines after SUBJECT will add a couple of lines to the body of the mail, which will include text like Report for 2015-09-24and an attached report file. The "ENCODER" line is used to send attachments.  The second argument to uuencode encodes the filename, and the email reader will decode the uuencode stuff and allow the user to open the attachment with the appropriate program; on Windows, it's usually Excel in this particular example as this bit of code is usually sending a CSV file.You can add multiple attachments with multiple ENCODER lines.

Why is Gmail unable to send files larger than 25MB?

It has to do with how Gmail counts the size of attachments versus how the Gmail API counts the size of an email message.Using the Gmail user interface, you can attach a file up to 25 MB in size, where the size is determined by the size of the file on disk. If you attach a file larger than 25 MB in size, then Google uploads it to Google Drive and places a download link to the file in the body of your email message.If you attach a file greater than 25 MB, as seen on disk, then Gmail uploads it to Google Drive and links to it instead of attaching it.However, even if you attach a file smaller than 25 MB, by passing the need to use Google Drive, the actual email messages ends up being around 50 MB in size, because of how attachments often double in size when encoded into the format necessary for email transmission (MIME).GMass uses the Gmail API to make mail merge inside Gmail possible, and the API methods have a hard limit of 35 MB for the total size of the email message, after MIME encoding.Usually, when a GMass email exceeds 35 MB, it is due to either excessively large attachments or large inline images. It may appear that your attachments add up to less than 35 MB, but when a file is encoded into the format necessary for email sending (MIME format), an attachment can often double in size. For example, if your attachment is only 20 MB as you see it in the Gmail Composewindow, you will likely still exceed the limit, because a 20 MB attachment equates to almost 40 MB when converted into MIME format.Therefore, in terms of using GMass, that means your complete email message, when encoded into MIME format, cannot exceed 35 MB. That equates to roughly 17-18 MB of inline images and attached files. Note that if you’re referencing images from an external host, that doesn’t count towards the size limitation.Even though my attachment is only 24 MB as it sits on my computer, it expands to over 44 MB when MIME-encoded into email format.The GMass size limit applied to an individual email message, not all emails in aggregate. Meaning, it doesn’t matter whether you’re sending to 1 email address or 1,000, the composed MIME-encoded email cannot exceed 35 MB.
