Never EVER depart your baby within the vehicle until you wish to stand expenses of crook forget/feasible baby abuse.

Do we get a fever when we get wet in rain?

What is Fever? The body raises its temperature in response to an infection (Generally. Though there can be varieties of reasons that cause elevated body temperature)Pyrogens - Fever causing substance that are present in the microbe or the microbe itself that is responsible for fever.Fever is like a defence mechanism of the body. It is said that elevated body temperature aids in the immune response of the body and helps combat infections. Therefore, it is okay to not take antipyretics immediately. However, fever for a prolonged period of time or at a temperature higher than 39 degree Celsius should be given medical attention.Rain and FeverThe following are the reasons that cold possibly cause fever after being drenched in the rain 1. The rain could lower the body temperature. To maintain the temperature at normal, the blood vessels constrict. This vasoconstriction could lead to hindering the ability of nose to filter the air properly and in the mucus production. When this occurs, it is like Christmas for the virus and the bacteria. They enter into the body and cause a whole lot of trouble.2. Dust is a major warehouse of the bacteria and viruses. The rain mixes with the dust in the atmosphere and falls on to your skin (it isn't a problem when you have no wounds. Broken skin or open, fresh wounds on the other hand is a gateway to infections), eyes, nose and mouth. 3. After we reach a dry place, the water gradually evaporates and takes away the body heat. In order to compensate for the heat-loss, the body increases its temperature, causing a temporary fever. But, that cannot really be classified as fever as such. Finally, rain and fever have no direct connection. It's got to do with the immunity of the person. Like it has been already mentioned, we only consider the times when we get drenched and catch the cold. Not of the times when we get wet and still stay healthy.

What do deer do in the wild when it rains?

They stand under trees. If it's not raining hard they'll be out grazing. But deer doesn't like a lot of wind. The reason behind this is that can't hear with all that wind. They usauly lie up under trees or brush. They roam very much at all. I kmow I've deer hunting for almost 40yrs. With the wind I'd have to move around quitely and everywhere. There's alot if brush and rocks all over the place. It makes it a rough going and trying not to make any loud noises. I come up from down wind so my scent and sounds are carried away from their location.

When it is raining, do you get more wet if you run or walk??

You can calculate it. Look for sites telling you how to calculate flux. Consider the rain as your vector field, and the area of your body as the area subtended. This gives the amount of rain that goes through your body per unit time. Then you multiply these by the relative time it takes you to get home, and this gives you the rough amount of rain that you will 'hit' in each circumstance.

At a guess, if you consider all things, it will probably make no difference. Besides once your wet through, you dont get any wetter, so the best advice is to not get caught out miles away from shelter in heavy rain.

I mean I live in Scotland, and when it rains, you're pretty much soaked through in about 5 minutes anyway

Has anyone experienced a situation where there was rain on one of their sides and it was dry on the other side?

There are two experiences that I can relate to this:The first one, when I was a kid…I was walking on one side of the street on the sidewalk and suddenly it started to rain…a heavy rain, nevertheless, the other sidewalk, in front of me (or us), was absolutely dry, no rain at all there, just across the street. The second one: I was also a kid, my family and I were going to Acapulco, by car, my dad was driving. It was a long 6 or 7 hour trip those days which was an eternal ride, as I can recall.Well, we were on the highway and then we passed through a part of the highway that was literally cut through a small hill … but instead of leaving a tunnel, they chopped it all on the top above the highway, leaving just 2 rock walls of (I guess) about 50 meters long each or so. It happened that just as we passed through that gap, there was a heavy rain just while we were next to those rock walls….not before, not after….so, it was a 15 or 20 seconds rain… We all noticed it, in fact, it took my dad by surprise as he had the wipers off as you can guess, before getting under the rain zone. When we passed through, we, the kids, took a look on the back windows and certainly, there was that very gray cloud, just above those remaining hill’s walls dropping its rain just to that little zone of the highway. So there you have it again, a little zone of rain, but not after and not before it.

Why does it feel good to get soaked in rain?

Rain soothes every wound ,lightens you from every burden every responsibility. For the time being one feels rejuvenated ,fresh and full of new energy to face life ; to keep fighting ; to keep trying . Even though one gets heavy with the wet clothes , being soaked in rains feels as if all past unfortunate events have been washed away. It always feel good to depend on nature as one can always come back to nature to find peace and calmness they long for while running after the materialistic things in life like career etc.

Driver's side window open during rain storm :( HELP PLEASE?

I left the driver's side window of my brand new car open... It's not even 3 weeks old :( ...

I wake up this morning and it is pouring rain. Have no idea how many hours it has been raining. The driver side door is soaked, the driver seat was only wet on the side where the airbags are. The carpet underneath the seat also wet, but not where the gas/brake pedal are bc the floor mat got all the water. The steering wheel was also wet, the AC/heat vent by the window, some of the dash around the steering wheel also got wet.
I'm worried about the bad smell on the seats, and if anything might happen with the steering wheel area. I'm expecting the window regulator to go out, but until now it works perfectly fine on all 4 windows, as well as the poor locks. I turned the car on, let the heat on for 3 minutes to help clear the air vent. I didn't drive it. This car is a hyundai w/ 10 year warranty. If something goes wrong with the electrical part, will they fix it? How can I get it dried up? Thanks.
