When Renting An Apartment What Does Conditional Mean

What does conditionally approved mean?

okay, so the letter also explained what the credit report found, but the apartment complex is owned by the same management company as the one that I live in. So the rules are if you live in one property and are looking to transfer to another, you don't pay the security deposit, however if you live and work in the same property, you don't pay a security or a background check fee. Would they still check background even though I didn't pay for it (Because I work for the company and live on the property)?

Apartment application came back conditional?

My fiance and I recently applied for an apartment. We called to check in on it and they said it came back conditional and the manager has to look it over. So what exactly does this conditional status mean?

What does conditionally accepted into an apartmemt mean?

They probably have done the credit check and now have to call references and jobs to be sure you told them the truth. They may also have a policy of doing a background check fo criminal activity this can be a good thing as no one else will be a problem in that building either! Be patient it shouldn't take more than 3 days total. Good luck.

Adding someone to apartment lease?

If you have an apartment leased under your name that youve been at for a while and you want to add another occupant to your lease that wont be helping with rent....do they look up the second person's rental history?

If we got "conditional approval"... what exactly does that mean?

Applied for FHA loan (first time buyer) & all of our application materials are in, appraisal is done, etc. I heard from our mortgage broker this week that we have "conditional approval" with the conditions being a) that I provide documentaiton of my student loans (I'm currently a grad student - working full time - so they're deferred but they need to know how much payments would be if I were paying them... I already gave the numbers to the broker but they need "official" letter from lender) and b) paying off old collections (which we knew we'd have to do from day 1 for the FHA loan & are doing so through escrow...)
So... does this mean I should start being a bit more optimistic and maybe start making moving plans or is there still time for things to go wrong???

I got approved for one apartment as conditional bc of credit. I decided I wanted another apartment more?

zero. Just because one apartment lowered their standards does not mean the second one will

What is the meaning of "conditionally accepted" in a university?

"Conditionally accepted" means that you have been accepted, provided that you can meet certain conditions that are stated in your acceptance letter. Plainly speaking, they say, "Yes, we accept you, if you do this (the condition)". They asked you to do something. If you fulfill this requirement, you are accepted. If not - the acceptance offer will not be valid anymore. Nobody will be able to give you a more specific advice, since they don't know exactly what is in your acceptance letter. Please don't be afraid to contact the admissions office directly (by email or phone call) and clarify all the details. They've accepted you, so they will work with you and help you to make sure all the requirements are finalized. You won't get in trouble with the admissions if you ask additional questions. You can get in trouble if you don't ask questions and won't be able to fulfill the conditions. Asking for an advice on Quora in fine, but I strongly encourage you to clarify all the details directly with the admissions office. Hope everything will work out for you, with the visa and everything. I wish you every success in your future studies!

What does "Delisted (Withdrawn Unconditional) mean in Real Estate?

When it comes to a local MLS any change in status of the listing is noted. When first listed, it is noted as "listed". If the listing price changes, its noted as a "price change". If the listing expires, its noted as "expired". If the house has an existing contract in place but has not closed, its noted as "pending". When the house closes, its noted as sold. If the seller decides to have the listing taken off the MLS without an existing contract or being sold, its noted as Withdrawn.

Why would a seller do this? For several possible reasons. Sometimes it happens when the listing agent gets fired. Sometimes it happens because the seller discovers something about the house that needs to be fixed before it can be properly marketed. Sometimes its because the seller (or the agent) believes that by taking it off the MLS and relisting as a new listing will make the listing appear new to the market which other buyer agents seek for their clients, making the house stand out to them rather than get lost in the existing inventory.
