What makes white people all HIGH and MIGHTY?
Your question got my attention because it really ticked me off, then I read our full question and understood where you are coming from. let me tell you from where I come, I see that someone might be over weight, good looking or not, I notice that they are male or female, what they are wearing and what race they are, but it does not make a bit of difference on how I think of that person or how I would treat them, everyone, in my eyes is equal as a minimum, some will prove to shine in areas that others cannot, again that is not a consideration of what the person looks like, I have found that their are ignorant cruel people all over the world of every color. I was in Arizona, at a Marine base a few years back and I needed to find the post office. I happened across a couple of large colored fellows and asked them where it might be. They were from NY and the hatred in their eyes was indiscribable , they looked like they would like to have torn me limb from limb, then they saw the Canadian flag on my uniform, sucked back , the murderous look vanished and they were very nice to me from then on. If you are called the N word and you react angrily (as you are definately entitled) you perpetuate the anger and the cycle NEVER breaks. The only solution I could see, might seem a bt nieve on my part, but it falls to you not to react as the "N" assailant expects you to, it's HIS problem and not yours. I know the "N" word cuts like a knife. At 15 you have so very much that you can do in life, but af you allow hatred to rule your heart, you really only hurt yourself, and possibly the bitterness will rob you of the opportunities to be truly happy in work and in love. Where have all the White people gone in California?
I just got home from downtown LA at the Staples Center and tonight after the All Star game and people were everywhere, but most were not White! I noticed this because earlier today I had to go to some top secret meeting for my internship and they mentioned the diversity in the room and how "proud" they were to have workers who all looked so "different" and men and women of all colores and blahhhh, so it was actually on my mind (race usually isn't on my mind in real life tbh), so anyway it just kind of freaked me out to be around that many people, such a large city with soooooo many people and everywhere I looked was either Latino or Asian! Asians are taking over California I think, lol. I used to think they just lived around me in my city, but Los Angeles is full of Asians and Asian restaurants. At my college its all Asian too, so I can't judge from that either! But its still mainly Latinos everywhere.
Why is there so much racism towards white people?
Racism and white bashing exist because there are no laws against it. laws created to help end discrimination are laws that if you look at tend to propigate racism against whites. Take a black person being called a racist name, every group or wackjob like Jessi Jackson or farakan, and al Sharpton, leap to promote their self intrest. Yet a black person shouts anti white or anti any other race words and no one will come to that persons defence because that person will certainly be labled a racist. When the all powerful race card is played by those who use it expertly no one innocent white person stands a chance.
