Should I get my nose pierced?

I can give you some info and answer your questions since I have a nose piercing and am debating either getting a double nose piercing or doing the other nostril.Does it hurt more than your ear lobe or getting eyebrows waxed?Yes, unfortunately it does hurt worse than getting your ear lobe pierced. I can't speak for eyebrow waxing because I've never had my brows waxed before…but I'd like to sometime. I'll run through the pain scale for me with my piercings…Ear lobe…1/10Lip…4/10Tongue…1.5/10Tragus…4/10Helix…3/10Navel…2/10Septum…4/10Industrial…8/10Nostril…3/10As far as the pain…it's not that bad, really. It's a quick pain that lasts maybe 15–20 seconds and it's done. The piercing just feels like a hard pinch. The jewelry insertion is worse which is a burning sensation, but…it's not bad either.Would I look good with a nose stud?Yes, I think you would look good with a nose stud :).Should I get it and put in a see through one during my lessons at school (or take it out for an hour)?This is a tough one since I'm not sure what kind of lessons you are referring to. I'd go by the school's dress code as far as piercings goes. My old high school allowed piercings (which is when I got mine done). The all girls school I go to now, doesn't allow me to wear my body jewelry. So I have to either take my nose ring out or wear a retainer (which is what I do. My piercing is fully healed though). If I were you, I'd get pierced during the summer break from school. That way…your piercing will be healed to the point that you can wear a see through stud in your piercing since I don't think you can get pierced with a clear stud or leaving your jewelry out which means your piercing can close on you.

I shouldn't have any make-up on my nose when I get it done, right? You can go in with make-up on, the piercer will clean it off. Does having your nose pierced bug you when you do put on make-up, the base and powder. Not really, you just gotta make sure you don't pull it out with the brush or whatever. Does it hurt blowing your nose or when you get sick? Nope, the only time it really hurt me was the first day I got it, but I made sure not to blow my nose. I have a small mole on the top of my nose, left side, I want my piercing on the left too, would that make my nose look weird? random question I know. Hmmm, I'm not really sure. I'd put it on my right if I were you, but it really depends on your face. Sorry I'm no help =P Any other advice you have please share, it will help me out. Be VERY careful washing your face afterward!! I've accidentally pulled my stud out so many times because it got caught on the towel, and its a pain to get back in! Good luck!! =)

Hey, I got mine done on Saturday and so far it's been completely fine. I haven't any redness or crusty stuff or anything, and it's doesn't hurt. There's a lot of horror stories that may put you off, but just remember that it's rare that something will go wrong- you have to be very unlucky! I had mine done with a needle, and the piercer used a clamp so all i felt was the pressure of the clamp and I hardly felt the needle go in. I'm not going to say it's painless, because it does sting a little. I had my ears done with a gun, and getting my nose done hurt less than my ears! I'm not a tough nut either, I'm a wimp and I'm freaked out by injections. I personally don't know of anyone whose went really bad or hurt heaps. As long as you get it done with a needle, which actually pierces it rather than a gun which just forces the blunt end through. I'm very happy with mine and people say it looks great so i would definitely recommend it! As for the blackheads, don't be embarrassed because you are certainly not the only one! A good way to get rid of them is to use a scrub, and leave it on for a little longer than normal. You can also buy blackhead removers from most beauty places. There's also special facials you can get that are specifically designed for removing blackheads, so if you're very keen you could try that, however it may be expensive! Good luck and hope I helped :)
Which side should I get my nose pierced?
I have a tattoo on my left side. I don't plan on having tattoo on my right side at all. So I was thinking maybe have all my piercings and tattoos on left side while having right side clean. I'm not a big piercer so just cartilage (maybe) and nose ring and earrings. Or should I balance it out by having cartilage on left ear and nose ring on right side? any suggestions?

What side should i get my nose pierced on?
i have mine on the left. i tested it out with a pen and jewels to see which side i prefered and i think it looked better on the left. ultimatley its up to you. some say to get it done on your dominant side. i didn't. i actually prefer it that way. i would test it out. try putting a dot on your nose on each side, and take pictures and see if you like one side better than the other.
Should I get my nose pierced this winter?
if you want one and it will suit you, why not? if you end up not wanting it, you can always take it out. nose piercings leave really small scars and they've been one of the easiest piercings i've had to take care of.
Should I go through with getting my nose pierced?
I want to get my nose pierced but my boyfriend says he wouldn’t like it or be able to handle it. I asked him if it would be something that he would leave me over and he said no. Knowing that he wouldn’t like it should I still go through with it?
