Which Las Vegas Hotel Is The Best To Stay At Why

Best hotel to stay in, in Las Vegas?

I'm a Total Reward member and get 3 free nights in Vegas. Last time I took advantage of this offer I stayed in "The Linq" and it was awesome. I am going to Vegas again in March and was wondering which of these hotels would your vegas vets recommend me staying at for my second time. Since the room is free, cost is not an option, I'm 23 also.
Rio, Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's, Caesars, The LINQ, Paris, or Planet Hollywood?

Best hotel in Las Vegas?

It really depends on what your want: best beds, best gym, best spa, best casino, best crowd, best atmosphere, best food/restaurants... and then of course if you want to be around young crowds, loud crowds, mature crowds, classy people etc... If money is no object you can choose from Mandarin Oriental, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn etc. Mid-range is Mandalay Bay, MGM, Paris, Rio... otherwise you can go downton (if you are on a budget but want somewhere nice, for example)

What Las Vegas hotel is best for partying?

Well there are a lot of different options depending on what your style is.

For the rockers of course the Hard Rock is fun and they do offer great nightlife there on property but during the day there is not too much to do there. The hotel is usually slow before 8pm and unless it is Sunday the pool isn't too crazy either. The rooms are nice and are of a good size.

Another favorite Party spot is the Palm Hotel and Casino. The Palms offers more of party atmosphere then the Hard Rock and more nightlife on property. The Aura of the clubs has been built up so much by MTV though it is crazy. The clubs them self are ok nothing really special but the hype around them brings in a great looking crowd. Making it a place to see and be seen.

The problem with both of these place is though they are both off strip and offer very little off property within walking distance. I would recommend staying on the strip to get the whole experience and party at both the Hard Rock and Palms at night.

So to give you an answer my ideal spot to stay in Las Vegas to party is the Venetian. They have the best nightclub in Las Vegas Tao and have really make you feel like royalty. The rooms are all suites and are by far the best bang for your buck. Plus being on the strip is ideal for the pre-party and after party. There is nothing better then walking the strip and getting wasted!

So party in style and party on the strip.

Best Hotel in Las Vegas in November?

Hello, Switzerland!

For folks in the 27-30 age group, I recommend the Venetian or Palazzo. These are suites only hotels and are very beautiful. The Plazzo is more modernistic and the Venetian is more romantic. You will get more for your money than at the Bellagio which has regular size hotel rooms. The Wynn is beautiful but too far North on the Strip.

I always recommend my favorite Party Bar, which is a restaurant and bar called Kahunaville in Treasure Island, which is right across the street from the Venetian. I included a link that reviews it but you can use the same link to review lots of other places, too. I like Kahunaville because the dress is casual, there is no cover charge, no attitude like there is in clubs, Flair Bartenders who toss and juggle the bottles and put on shows that get the crowd going as well as a DJ after 7pm. The drinks are reasonable and huge as well as being some unusual and tasty concoctions.

The Venetian casino is very nice. In all Las Vegas casinos the drinks are complimentary. Just remember to tip the cocktail waitress at least a dollar per drink. If you are a fast drinker, feel free to order more than one at a time. All drinks are complimentary (within reason) including coffee or soft drinks.

Four people and your luggage may be too much for one taxi. So, unless you can secure one that has enough room (minivan) you would be better off taking a shuttle which charges about $6 per person and can accommodate any size group or number of bags. They are available at kiosks right outside the arrivals area at the airport. They are very large van-like things that take you right to your hotel front door.

A word about tipping. Sometimes people from outside of the U.S. are not clear about it. The rule of thumb is to tip anyone who provides you assistance or a service. Do you tip the cab driver, yes. Do you tip the Shuttle driver? Some do some do not. Sometimes people do not realize that they should tip the chamber-maid. You do this by leaving the money on the table near the bed. Usually $3 per day for a room $5 or more for a suite.
