Choose a team that isn't a huge bandwagon team, but still has a chance at a successful season. Ex. Buccaneers Seahawks Panthers Dolphins Colts. Bengals Some teams not to support... Any team with large amounts of bandwagon fans ex. Packers Patriots Giants Steelers If you seriously like these teams, you can choose them, just I recommend not to go to a team just because someone told you so. Choose a team where you like the way they play football.

I am from North Carolina but I'm not sure if I want to be a Panthers fan because I feel like it is such a small market team that they might move to another city someday. I also don't know which team to pick because I don't want to be a bandwagon fan. I also don't want people to be like "oh you're not from there so you can't be a fan of that team". I'll just tell you about my team and maybe you'll like them. I'm a Green Bay Packer fan, even though I don't live anywhere near Wisconsin because my dad is a fan of theirs and he introduced me to football. However, now I love them for so many reasons. Here's a list: 1. They have a great history. They were one of the first teams to be created and they have been highly successful. They have won 12 championships and 3 super bowls. 2. They are publicly owned. That means they represent the interests of their fans and not an owner. They will never be moved or interfered with. This is the only team in professional american sports that is publicly owned. 3. The players, with a few exceptions, are hard working, tough, and let their play on the field speak for them. They almost never get in trouble and you rarely hear bad things about them. I for one hate teams like Dallas and Cincinnati because of all the drama they create. 4. They are one of the best teams in the league! They're one of the favorites to go to the super bowl. Those are just some reasons why I love and support the Packers. Welcome to the wonderful sport of American football, whoever you choose!

Here's something you need to understand about American Football. EVERY team has a "passionate, loyal, and true fanbase." It's not like the European game where a few clubs have all of the casual fans. Occasionally those casual fans will all switch sides and jump on to wherever their glory-hunter instincts tell them to, but it's not something to worry about. I'd recommend you take a look at the Indianapolis Colts, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Kansas City Chiefs (they suck though)
