Which Scenario Sounds More Interesting

Does this scenario sound creepy to you?

Hi! So I'm a 17 year old girl, and I work at a fast food restauarant. One of my coworkers who is around 25 is a fry cook and he only speaks Spanish, and I'm almost fluent myself, so we talk a lot. In fact the whole staff is hispanic, I'm the only white person, but for the sake of not making me feel uncomfortable we all speak spanish to each other. Anyway, my manager told me that he (the fry cook) wanted to take me on a date to the movies, and he was trying to get me to answer. The whole staff knows about this (I overheard a conversation), and they don't think it's weird at all. He hasn't asked me out himself though, and I think maybe he was trying to get my manager to do it for him? I was just wondering if this was creepy, because the whole staff doesn't think so, and if I should go on this one date with him?

What is the meaning of “Your job sounds very interesting.”? Could you explain the word 'sound' with more examples like the above sentence?

“Your job seems very interesting” or “your job appears to be very interesting”Might be better with a scenario….You meet me at a party and you ask me what my job is: I tell you about my job, my duties, what I do every day. You are polite and you say “your job sounds very interesting”. What you mean is that the explanation I have given you make my job appear interesting.“Sounds” in this context means that an impression has been conveyed.

Interesting Love Scenario :)?

Hi. Here is my scenario. I was in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost 6 1/2 years. Well we broke up, and I know who my soulmate is. I have known for a long time now, but never made a move because I was in a relationship. What should I do now that I am single. Should I wait so I don't screw anything up? He is so very special and perfect to me. No, this isn't a little crush or infatuation, its real. I love him and he is my perfect man.

Which of these scenarios sounds the most sad?

I am writing a story for a class and it has to incorporate a scene of despair and sadness.

A house call doctor comes to a family's small, rundown apartment, he and the landlord, who is very fond of the family with the exception of an abusive father, come to find:

1. A dead mother who killed herself after the death her sick daughter.

I had the mother take her life in this one out of passion. She finds her life meaningless without her daughter.

2. A dead mother and daughter, murdered by the father.

For this, it is supposed to be the landlord, who has actually let the family live there free of charge for four years, who is crying. He is supposed to be more of a father than the real one. And is immediately distraught from the sight of this.

3. A mother crying over her daughter who died of sickness.

This is both the mother and surprised landlord crying over the loss of the young girl from preventable cause.

Where will two sounds be equal in intensity given the following scenario?

Two sources of sound are located on the x-axis, and each emits power uniformly in all directions. There are no reflections. One source is positioned at the origin. The other source is at x = 132 m. The source at the origin emits four times as much power as the other source. Find the two positions along the x-axis where the two sounds are equal in intensity.

Keep in mind that you are looking for equal SOUND intensity, not equal wave intensity.

(a) In which of these scenarios do you hear a higher pitched sound? Explain.?

(a) f = Fo•(V + Vr)/(V+Vs) ← Doppler
Vr +ve if rcvr moving toward src, Vs -ve if src moving toward rcvr

(i) Vr is +ve and Vs = 0. Perceived f = F*(V + v0) / V

(ii) perceived f = F*(V + v0/2) / (V - v0/2)

(b) At 0ºC, V = 331 m/s, and so
for (i), f = 900Hz * (331 + 30) / 331 = 981.57 Hz
and (ii) f = 900Hz * (331 + 15) / (331 - 15) = 985.44 Hz ◄ higher of the two
so the difference is 3.87 Hz, or about 4 Hz.

(c) for (i) f = 900Hz * 331 * (1 + ¼) / 331 = 1125 Hz
and (ii) f = 900 * (1 + ½*¼) / (1 - ½*¼) = 1157 Hz ◄ higher of the two
so the difference is 32 Hz.

What scenario do you think would cause the most pain?

Amniocentesis Test: examines the amniotic fluid surrounding the developing baby. They take a long needle and insert it into the pregnant person’s belly and into the uterus to take some amniotic fluid.Childbirth is most probably infinitely more painful, but an amniocentesis test sounds more terrifying.(Never been pregnant, but it sounds awful.)

Which scenario sounds better, shower sex or bath sex?

Both, on a rare occasion. Neither one is something I do all the time, nor would I really want to - but it's not the nightmare that some people tell you it is, not if you know what you're doing anyway. In shower sex, my wife and I tend to start by wetting each other's appetites, lots of stroking and kissing and such. Then, due to height issues, she bends over and rests her hands on the other side of the tub, while standing firmly on our no slip mat. I can easily access either hole from there, while gripping her hips or rubbing her back, scratching, playing with her breasts, etc. It can be quite fun.In bath sex, which we have done less frequently, we get each other going and she uses my penis to penetrate herself from above me. Sometimes, in this position, we renegotiate our bodies to a missionary, or eject and reinsert from behind. We only do this when we have access to a large tub, one which we can safely keep heads above water and maneuver in.Yeah, there's a little less natural lubrication, but it's not overly dry or uncomfortable. 6/10, nice occasional treat.

What are the most pleasant sounds we hear in our daily lives?

I take this question from two standpoints; 1 as being in an indian house hold; 2 as a person breaking away from the clutter of the internet/social media. Im sorry if don't manage to get the aspect of "IN OUR DAILY LIVES", because the below mentioned sounds are a more wishful thinking scenario than actual daily life sounds.1)The sound of trains(located nearby to your house) and train tracks.2) The sound of crickets and small breezy winds at night post 1am.3) Cold sub=bass winds at high altitude where you feel like whatever you speak cant be audible by anyone else4) waves of water hitting the beach shore, some element of introspection. 5) slight drizzle in the evenings before sunset.6)sounds of raindrops from the window, making you feel cozy and comfortable within the confines of your home.

Whats better Martin Logan Motion 12 or Martin Logans Scenario?

A lot depends on the size of your room the placement options for the speakers and the type of music you listen to. Theoretically the Scenarios should sound better because they are more expensive and of Electrostatic design, but in the real world this is not always the case...In order for the Senarios to sound there best they need to be placed at least 3.5 feet from any reflective flat surface except the floor and 4 or 5 feet would be even better...also the electronics associated with electrostatics needs to be first rate to bring out the added sensitivity...a high quality amplifier of 200 watts or more a channel RMS would not be out of the question in order to make the Senarious sound there best....set up can be quite difficult and time consuming little changes of two or three inches one way or the other can create tremendous changes to the sound quality....also they is usually a sweet spot in which the sound is much better than any where else in the room.....also the type of music you listen can make a difference natural instruments Acoustic Guitar; Violin Piano etc can sound incredibly good Heavy metal not so good.etc....for smaller rooms your probably better off with the Motions....
