White Smelly Stuff Coming Out Of My Ear Lobe Every Day When Squeezed

An old ear piercing has white stuff coming out of it.?

I got my second hole done about 6 or 7 years ago. I haven't worn earrings in the second holes for about 4 years. But the past few months the area around the second hole on my left side is really swollen. And when I squeeze it white stuff comes out. Has this happened to anyone, if so what could it be?

White stuff coming from ear piercing hole?

I've had my ears pierced for over 12 years, and rarely wear earrings. I noticed when I squeeze my ear lobe, white stuff comes out of the piercing hole (only a tiny bit). Also, there is a funky smell on my lobe. I wash my ears when I get a shower, which is every other day. I don't think it's an infection..

What could this be?

I have a bump in my earlobe, and its stinky when I try to squeeze it, whats with that?

USE AN ANTI FUNGAL CREAM AND SEE A DOCTOR TO PRESCRIBE SOME ANTI BIOTICS AND POSSIBLY LANCE THE ABYSSES

My finger is red and swollen and when i squeeze it yellow pus comes out, why? how can i fix it?

I had the same problem several months ago. The tip of my finger (on the side) swelled up and got red. I knew it was an infection but I never knew what caused it. Maybe an ingrown nail? And, although it was uncomfortable, it never hurt.

I just happened to have a doctors appointment a couple of days later and showed it to him. He gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and had me soak my finger in hot water as often as I could in order to draw the infection out. Two days later, the pus pocket broke and drained and I've had no problem since.

So, my advise to you is, if you won't see your doctor, is to soak your finger as often as you can in water that is as hot as you can stand.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

White pus coming out of ear piercing?

I got my ears pierced when I was 7 (I'll turn 19 this month, so I have had them pierced for quite a while). They have never been infected.
I haven't worn earrings in several months, so tonight I was messing with it to see if the hole was still there. When I squeezed my earlobe with my fingers, some white pus-like substance came out. The ear is not sore, swollen, or red. As far as I can tell it's only in one piercing.
Does anyone have any idea what this is? I have never had anything like this before.

Weird question - Smelly ear piercings?

Seeing that you hadn't worn them in some time and instantly smelled the odor, it has something to do with the metal. Chances are they are a substandard metal, if not sterling. Most substandard metals (including silver) tarnish and tend to smell as they break down.

You can fix this by getting quality jewelry from a piercing studio, rather than a mall shop or jeweler. If you must go to a jeweler, request nickel free jewelry (can be implant grade stainless, titanium, platinum, or gold). If you go to a mall shop (for instance, Claire's or Icing) even the "nickel free" and "sensitive skin" earrings tend to either have 5% or less nickel alloys in them (what they've considered free of nickel) or are simply plated over the top (and this plating chips and wears off over time).

Ears on their own can produce an odor as well, as your skin sheds regularly and the dead skin (quite literally rotting in your earring hole) needs to have somewhere to go. When pushed out (with jewelry) or built up (around jewelry), you smell it again.

Wash your ears/earring holes everytime you shower (including taking out the jewelry) and you should avoid this problem.

My ear piercing has puss coming out help!?

After 4 - 5 months a lobe piercing would normally have healed. I'm curious - had the holes healed or has this been a really slow healing?

Either way, pus suggests that the holes have not healed or they've been knocked which has injured them or, as one of the other answers says, you have an allergy problem, which, in turn, can lead to other problems.

The initial cause of your problems is, to my mind, getting a gun piercing with the sorts of earrings they put in as your starter jewellery and the Claire's solution doesn't help matters.

Fixing the problem: for a start you want to clean your lobes gently. Use a mild, unscented antibacterial soap. Then give them a soak in a saline solution made from 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt dissolved in a cup of water. You need to do this between 1 and 3 times a day, no more. Don't use alcohol, Dettol, peroxide, Neosporin or anything marked "not for use on open wounds" on your lobes. These sorts of disinfectants can make the problem worse, rather than better.

Then, as soon as you can, visit a proper piercing studio and get your earrings changed to something more suitable that allows you to clean the holes properly. As there is the possibility that you have an allergy problem titanium might be the safest choice. Nickel is usually the culprit where metal allergies are concerned. The sort of retainer jewellery you need is either barbells, rings or a captive beaded ring. Any of these will allow you to clean the piercing properly, which your Claire's earrings don't. Getting proper starter jewellery and having it changed at a studio will cost you money. Nevertheless, you need to do this as soon as possible.

Taking the earrings out and leaving them out may not be a good idea, if you have an infection then the infection can end up trapped in the hole if you take the jewellery out and leave it out.
