Missed birth control 2 days in a row and now bleeding?
First of all, when you miss a pill, you're supposed to take it as soon as you remember it, and if you don't notice until it's time to take the next pill, then take 2 at once. If you miss pills 2 days in a row, then you take 2 pills the day you remember, and 2 pills the next day. Then you should be caught up. So it sounds like you should have taken 2 pills today and 2 pills tomorrow. In any case, you need to be using condoms for the entire rest of the month because due to skipping those pills, you're not fully protected. As for why you are bleeding: the uterine lining builds up as a result of the hormones in the pills. When you stop the pills, this causes the lining to shed. That's why you bleed during your week of placebo pills, and that's why you're bleeding now--it's a progesterone withdrawal bleed. Now that you have resumed taking the pill, the bleeding should stop as a natural result of the increase in progesterone you experience by taking the pill. Just give it a few days.
Plan B taken 2 days after missed period, no period still but negative pregnancy tests?
If it's been a week since you had sex, no, you wouldn't necessarily know it by now. I know you asked for people to help calm your nerves but, what were you thinking having unprotected ex 3 days in a row? Of course there's those times where it's still stupid but maybe you just get so caught up in it all that you stupidly have sex THAT time without protection. But, 3 days in a row????? Even you said you know withdrawal doesn't always work but, more than that, what does withdrawal have to do with protecting you from sexually transmitted diseases. Help! I missed 2 days of taking birth control pills - what do I do?
I missed Friday and Saturday - so for tonight's (Sunday) dose, do I take ALL 3 (Fri/Sat & Sunday) or what??? FYI: I am on microgestin fe 1/20 and it's the 28 day one & I did start my period today.

Wow!! I wish I could time my periods to the HOUR :) That's actually very handy :) Most tests are more accurate the closer you are to your period. I found out with a HPT about a day before my period was supposed to start, but sometimes, there isn't enough hCG in your urine to give you that positive until a few days after. hCG is a hormone secreted by placenta cells that the HPTs measure for. There are many more false negatives and false positives when it comes to pregnancy testing. False negatives are attributable to the fact that there isn't enough hCG in your urine yet. False positives are more the result of chemical pregnancies--which typically end when your next period starts. If you test and get a negative, but still feel that you might be pregnant, wait about 3 days and test again. hCG levels are supposed to double every 48-72 hours, so that time frame would give you a more accurate result. If, however, you get a negative upon the retest and STILL feel pregnant, go get a blood test done--it's very easy and not a huge time commitment. Pregnant? starting period? implantation bleeding? missed pills im soo confused ! ?
So my last period was on the 17 or 18 of august my most fertile days were from the aug 29-sept 3rd and i missed 2 yaz pills in a row while i went camping during those 2 days that i missed them i had unprotected sex with hubby by the 3rd day when we came back i took all 3 of the pills 2 days later i started spotting a little which i didnt care for too much since i knew it was because i missed the pill ... but now its been over a week like 9 days my period is supposed to start today or tomrw and i have dark brown on my panties (Sorry tmi) or realllly light brown when i wipe Im scared and paranoid since in late july i had a false positive HPT ( clear blue digital) so i took a blood test came out neg and got my period the day i was suppoed to thing that freaks me out is my mom was on birth control and she had her period while she was preg with me she didnt knw until she was 3 months preg .... I need advice,... stories anything.... BtW i have bad headaches the ones where u get up and you feel super lightheaded i have stomach cramps and pains after i eat i just took a preg test and it came out neg i dont trust it 100% though
Antibiotic - missed 2 days...can I take the rest?
I was snowed-in at work and didn't have my prescription. I missed 2 days of my Amoxicillin that was prescribed for an ear infection. I have 4 days left....can I take the remainder of the meds or no? My ear is starting to feel clogged again. It's not painful, just 'stuffy'.
