Who Do Libertarians Vote For

Why don't more people vote for the Libertarian party?

I agree. I would love to vote Libertarian. I don't think there are enough people who know what the Libertarian party is and for what it stands.

Also, too many people are tied to the two-party system ... maybe the next generation of voters will be able to make that leap away from only two parties.

Do libertarians vote Democrat or Republican?

Seeing as how I’m a Canadian citizen (and a 17-year-old at that), voting in the States is a no-no for me, though I’ll still entertain this question, because entertainment is fun, and I like fun.First off, I’m a Libertarian. This sort of system emphasizes economic conservatism while looking over social issues in a more lukewarm manner, and by that I mean we’re not religious zealots about it. Libertarians often don’t care if you’re gay or black or identify as a Pokemon; so long as you properly contribute to society and follow Libertarian policies, that’s to say, free markets, privatization, things like that, you’re a good American citizen. Whether or not they vote for Republican or Democrat can go either way.Like one of the users mentioned, both sides can offer rational and consistently logical arguments for their ideologies. In fact, it irritates me when smug Democrats or Republicans (mostly Democrats, though, according to my careful observations on Quora) demean the other side because they’re “idiots who ignore facts”, and such and such.I’ll tell you whom I’d cast my vote on:Republicans!Wait, don’t leave! I can explain!Truth be told, I’m not particularly fond of Republicans, at least not until recent years. For the longest time they’ve been complete assholes to blacks, gays, women—all under the guise of religious justification. So, really, I would probably be voting Democrat; but again, only till recent years.I don’t like what I’ve witnessed thus far, I mean, what the Democrats have been doing. Seems like a lot of social pandering, SJW-ness, and even those tantrums thrown when Hillary Clinton lost. They went from the cool guys who make you think to the ones who demand you accept everything they say. While I still don’t like religious Republicanism, I’d consider myself a conservative nowadays since they seem to be the more sophisticated ones: the lot that ask questions rather than immediately assume, and look carefully at the economy rather than saying, “But human rights is the economy!” Modern conservatism, mostly from the perspective of policies involving capital, and even some social issues, seems, to me, far more intellectually stimulating than modern day liberalism. Now then, I’m fairly certain plenty of intelligent Libertarians can rebut my points and explain why they’d vote Democrat. That’s fine, and it’s why opinions are so great.

Why don't black people vote for the libertarian party?

Hello first of all I jut want to say that I love black people very much I grew up with them and I love them with all my heart but they seem to mostly be liberal and vote Democrat but my question is why?. Why don't they vote for the Libertarian party instead I man is beneficial for them because 1. Many so called crimes such as drugs are not rea crimes they are just Big Brother taking control of people and many black people are in jail when they shouldn't be in the first place.2 Black people tend to be somewhat social liberals. 3 The jobs that would be created under the Libertarian Party would vastly benefit blacks in general.
