Why Are There Tna Results On Wwe

Why wrestlers leave WWE for tna?

Assuming it’s an intentional move, and not just the next best place they can find work after WWE releases them? Usually it comes down to two things. One is the schedule: WWE has an INSANE road schedule, and a lot of guys get really burnt out by all the travel and special appearances on top of actually appearing on the shows themselves. Even before they stopped running house shows and reduced the number of TV tapings over the last few years, TNA’s house show schedule was very, very light, and since many of the wrestlers live in Florida (no state income tax), it was much easier getting to where TNA taped TV at Universal Studios in Orlando than having to drag themselves all over the country.Though this is far less common, some people ask for their release from WWE for creative freedom purposes. There have been people who have not been happy with the way WWE used them, and the paycheck wasn’t enough to keep them happy, so they request their release so they can try to go to TNA (or ROH, or Japan, or wherever) and get the chance to have more of a hand in the creation and development of their own characters.

Why does wwe.com have TNA results?

WWE.com has added "Industry News" to their website which includes TNA, ROH and other promotions ....
It is no big deal ; just lettin' you know what is going on in the wrestling biz all over the world ...

Does anybody know why wwe would be posting tna results on their website?

It's in the "Industry News" section. They show news from the entire wrestling/MMA industry. They list all the live wrestling shows all over the country every day. They list news for ROH, including schedules, results, and injury news. They've had articles about Brock Lesnar's UFC career and about Ultimate Warrior's return to wrestling. Basically, wwe.com is a one stop site for wrestling news so you don't have to search through all the rumors sites for it.

Why are TNA wrestlers moving to WWE?

If you work for a local company and are getting paid well but receive a considerably more lucrative offer from a larger, better known company to do continue doing what you enjoy doing, would you take it? Also, take into consideration, your job is one where having eyes on you one of the primary reasons you perform your duties. Further, changing companies adds prestige to your name and opens other value venues to you. Lastly, by taking the position at the larger, better known company, you increase your intangible value. Do you transfer from your local company to the bigger company? If you are playing AAA (base)ball and you get called up to majors, do you go?Okay, maybe not everyone would be excited.Bottom line: if you are a professional wrestler, WWE is your dream, desire and destination of choice.

Why there is no response from WWE on TNA using ther trademarks in their programming?

It is not the least bit illegal for them to merely "say names" which are trademarked by the WWE. That's why, in the past, we have seen Domino's Pizza drivers used in Pizza Hut commercials, and why we've seen guys dressed up as "Whopper Jr's" trying to order at a Wendy's drive-thru. A trademark does not absolutely ban anyone from ever VERBALLY using that word/name again. If it did, WWE would be suing all of US who ever said anything to criticize them. Vince is simply choosing to not even recognize their taunts because he views TNA as no "real" competition.....yet. I always adhere to the rule that ANY publicity is good publicity....and that's just what TNA has been giving WWE lately.

Why has WWE let former TNA wrestlers use their existing ring names? Did WWE buy their names?

It’s going to be different for each person depending on whether the name was ever trademarked and whether that trademark is still active. Some of these names were not trademarked previously or the registrations have expired. For instance, Samoa Joe owns his own name.If you search at the USPTO website for “Samoa Joe” you’ll see the three active word marks are all registered to “Nuufolau Joel Seanoa”. Generally speaking one registration covers paper goods, one covers DVDs and one covers entertainment services (which is what we is generally registered when one is thinks of a wrestler’s ring name). The “AJ Styles” name is currently owned by Allen Jones but you’ll notice that it was originally registered by TNA Entertianment. In January 2015, TNA transferred the registration ownership to Allen Jones. This may have been part of the contract that AJ Styles had previously signed which said he’d retain the rights to the name after he left the company when his contract expired.WWE wants to have ownership of all of the ring names that they use on television. However, the process of registering the trademarks can take awhile and there is an on-going back and forth with the examiners over whether WWE needs to have the signature from the wrestler whose character names are being registered if the company claims they created the character. It can be complicated. When CM Punk left WWE, he actually was able to take his name with him. In November 2014, WWE transferred the trademarks and service marks for “CM PUNK” and “SECOND CITY SAINT” back to Phillip Jack Brooks. When you look at a WWE contract (for instance, Stephanie McMahon’s 2013 deal), you’ll see there is extensive language about the “Intellectual Property”. When you enter into the contract, you clearly state what is “Wrestler Intellectual Property” and what is “Promoter Intellectual Property”. It also spells out the terms of use for that property while you’re under contract and what happens when your contract ends.

Why is pro wrestling (WWE) so popular?

Just kidding. All jokes aside, think of pro wrestling like the travelling circus. You have the high flying acrobat, you have the brute strength, you have the eye candy. Its all about entertainment. Wrestling isn’t fake in the true sense of the word, its scripted i.e. the outcomes of the match/feud/storyline are already determined in advance, it all depends on how the performers execute these plans and make their aforementioned match/feud/storyline compelling.Another thing that makes pro wrestling so compelling is the kind of characters being portrayed. Yeah, there maybe the sterotypical roles like the foreign heel (Rusev), the weird backwoods cult (Wyatt family), undead monster (Undertaker) among others, but the way these are booked and portrayed makes them seem larger than life. And occasionally we get the story of the underdog who faced all odds and managed to make it big- Daniel Bryan’s win at Wrestlemania 30, Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 20, Eddie Guerrero’s title win-these are not the typical huge musclebound guys that dominate the WWE roster, they are smaller in stature, insanely talented and hardworking, there was a “regular guy” kind of vibe with these chaps, something that we could associate with. That made their wins worth watching. Some of the bumps that these guys take are crazy and can cause major injuries at any given time if wrongly done (botched). Some botches can have really bad effects long term causing pro wrestlers to get seriously injured- concussions, fractures, muscle tears or even retire. Most recently during Payback Enzo Amore was injured in the match against The Vaudevillians, thankfully he is getting better soon. Seth Rollins had a horrible injury and was forced to vacate his title. Daniel Bryan had to retire due to many injuries. Likewise Edge and Stone Cold. These people put their bodies on the line in order to entertain us. They are on the road for most of the year, its not something everyone can do. So while it may all be scripted or fake, the men and women going out there and working their asses off to keep the audience happy. They deserve a lot of respect from us.

TNA vs WWE.. why is there a fued?.. your thoughts?

why is there always an argument of which one is the better company?
i dont really care i watch them both
i have to be honest and say .. TNA is kind of a knock off because they have a lot of WWE wrestlers.. but all in all im watching the same thing in both shows

its one thing to say pro wrestling is fake but when people remark that WWE or TNA is worse or better than the other .. thats just stupid
and well if you dont like one or either of them just dont watch it.. that solves that problem, if you dont like WWE dont watch it, dont answer WWE question.. same for TNA

but seriously why do we always argue about it. im like my gosh get over it already its the same thing
they both share the same wrestlers
the same moves
both have PPVs
both have the same goal :entertain, make money, reach great ratings, sell merchandise.

so ...... whats to argue for?

thats just my opinion.. feel free to add your own or inform me with incorrect or more info...
just dont get sarcastic .. thanks!!

Why do the wrestlers in WWE, TNA, GFW, etc. change their name?

Each wrestler wreslting in a particular company is working with an agreement for that company hence they take in the company names and not their real namesEg WWE Dean Ambrose. Real name John MoxleyAlberto Del Rio as Alberto El PartonDrew Mctntre in WWE as Drew Gallowate etc..So if the wrestler leaves the company he/she has to leave out his name with the company and take in the name given by the new company

Why do WWE wrestlers use nicknames?

Years ago, there was a term in the pro wrestling business called “kayfabe" which means there was no discussion about anything the wrestlers did in real life when they weren't wrestling on TV or live in person in the arenas. If you saw Hulk Hogan in interviews or in real life he was always Hulk Hogan, you didn't know anything about Terry Bollea, The Undertaker is always The Undertaker, he's not Mark Calaway when you see him for example. It's actually not a big deal anymore like it used to be because of the internet, which makes it easy to find out who a wrestler really is without knowing them personally but a long time ago, it wasn't.
