Does the USPS deliver mail on weekends, and if so, is this nationally or dependent on ones location?
Yes. USPS delivers mail on Saturday. No regular mail delivery on Sunday though. Express Mail is delivered as it comes in regardless of what day it is. So, in short, Express Mail is delivered on Sunday. It was my experience that Saturdays tended to be “light” mail days. So many people wanted off early. They’d skip lunch and break to get off a couple of hours early. Not recommended but it happened. I strived for consistency. But in short, Saturday was usually light and mail was usually delivered earlier.

Do small packages delivered by UPS go in your mailbox or to your front door?
Straight to your door. UPS and USPS are not the same. Only usps can place items in your mailbox.However ups has recently started using usps to deliver smaller packages. I placed an order from Walmart and they shipped UPS but item was delivered in the end by the us postal office. It is possible but not a regular option for most companies.I suggest you ask for tracking and I hope that helps.

Yes,,,every box is emptied at least once per business day. Don't blame the USPS for slow service, Netflix will slow down your turn around time if you are returning the DVDs too quickly...call and complain, they will usually speed up after a call
Can my parents open my mail if I live with them and am 18?
I am 18 and I still currently live with my parents. I recieve bank statements in the mail and my parents open my mail saying you still live here your mail is for us to know about. I do not permit them to open my mail but they get to the mail before I usually can and they do open it and get mad at me about my financial matters and I want to know what I can do about this.
What time does usps put mail into the P.O. Boxes?
Most Post Offices will have a sign posted in the lobby telling you when your mail will be in your box. (In my local P.O. the sign always said all mail would be distributed by 11 am.)
