Why Do Lot Of Koreans Dislike Filipinos

Koreans and Filipinos?

NO OFFENSE but SORRY ..I have to be honest..
"Is this just an exaggeration and that racism in Korea is just like in any other country, or is a dislike towards filipinos actually more prominent in Korea?" the latter is more right.

korean people usually see all southeast asian(filipino, vietnamese, thai, cambodian, indonesian) women are mail order brides who are married to old men.
I'm sorry if I offended you. but it's true. in korea, you can see lots of south east asian girls(teenagers and in early 20s ) who are married to 50~60years old korean men.
many many people ignore/insult south east asian brides.
I know those koreans who have stereotypes are bad, ugly ppl. but it's reality and you need to watch the fact directly.
I think you will experience the racism if you come to korea for marrying or working illegaly. you would terribly discriminated in korea.
but DONT WORRY if you visit here only for touring or studying, I'm sure you would be treated well..
how about going to america or europe?? you will be more accepted in those countries. korea is racist/culturalist country.

p.s. In general, the people who date interracially are prone to be considered as "losers" in korea. I know this reality is wrong/vulgar.
but it's the fact. for example.. the people of these types can be seen as losers by majority of koreans.
korean women who date white men (mostly english teachers/american soldiers)/non-east asian men or korean men who married to south east asian brides/white women from russia/ukraina/eastern europe/central asia..
these types are usually very looked down upon by normal koreans... because these international marriages are not based on true-love.

What do you like or dislike about Filipinos?

Filipinos are a large majority in the United States in terms of numbers, but socially we are invisibile to the majority of Americans. Filipinos are overshadowed by Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese. Therefore, people stereotype and group us all together with the East Asians. Have you encountered any Filipinos? What are your impressions of them? What do you like or dislike about Filipinos? Be open and honest. I will not judge you if you are truthful.

Why do a lot of filipino artist are insecure about the Korean wave (KPOP)?

I notice a lot of filipinos are giving and stereotyping koreans ....calling them bad names etc....
are the filipinos in general insecured about koreans ?... most recently i saw some of the opm artist giving insults against korean pop music.... i don't know whats there problem about it .. .. it all comes down into insecurity i think cause filipino artist in general lacks originality and musicality ...

and also why some filipinos hate koreans so much ?.. i mean some are good ones and bad ones.. but why are they generalizing koreans as bad people ?....

What do South Koreans think about Filipinos?

There are Filipinos that visit as tourists and then there are Fillipinos who work as English teachers, cleaners, or nannies. Not all Fillipino people will look the same and not all of them will have the same education level or experience.Back in the Korean war Fillipino soldiers joined UN and American forces to help South Korea. Without their sacrifice South Korea would have not be how it is today. Koreans would think of Fillipinos as being great allies and overall viewed as being fearless warriors.Overall I think Fillipino people as a whole are very friendly, good natured and they work hard as a whole for their family. I knew quite a few Fillipinos that lived in Korea that live in completely different walks of life. The ones who manage to do well are Fillipino American military families or the embassy workers. After them English teachers, nannies, and housecleaners.I knew a Fillipina who worked in Korea to support her children's college education by cleaning. She worked in Korea for well over 6 years and even brought over her niece. She isn't a legal worker so she worked when she could for US military families. Her niece didn't like to clean so instead she started dating an American soldier for hope that she'd get married. What she didn't know was that he was already married with children back in America but she found herself pregnant and out of luck. For the 1st 3 months she managed to recieve about 400 dollars a month for the baby until he cut her off completely. After finding out I bought powdered milk and diapers for her newborn because it felt like it was the right thing to do.What she later decided to do was leave for America to work as a nanny with her child leaving behind her aunt. Her aunt went through alot and I hope she is doing well by now back in the Philippines.
