Directv DVR recorder is not working right?
We got this stupid thing a few months ago, and everything worked fine up until awhile ago. It won't record a whole program, it stops playing in the middle of a show/movie, and when we record things it won't record the whole thing. There are no other things being recorded, and all our other equipment seems to be working fine. We have looked at the troubleshoot for it, and nothing helps, not even after reseting it. As a matter of fact, when we reset it, we loose movies/shows we recorded the day before..... is there some kind of glitch in this machine? The record lite seems to be on constantly, even though we aren't recording anything! PLEASE HELP! yes i know we need to call direct, but just wondering if anyone else is having these problems, and a good solution!
My touch pad keeps 'spazzing out'?
On the bottom right-hand corner of your laptop should be little icons for different applications - for example, mine has an icon for my virus protection, a speaker icon for sound, a battery icon for the time left until it dies, etc. Among these should be a little icon that looks like your touch pad: a square with two buttons on it. When you use the touch pad, a little green circle appears and moves in it. This is the touch pad icon. Right-click this icon and if "Tap to Click" is checked, click it so it's not checked. That way, to click on stuff, YOU have to press the buttons, not tap the touch pad. Your touch pad's spazziness was probably you accidentally tapping the pad involutarily.
Why does my ps2 freeze on loading screens?
It could be a number of things. The version of the game you are playing. Sometimes the original or the greatest hits version of a game are slightly different and either can have glitches that occur. The disc might be defective(could be defective in just that one place). After cleaning the disc and the ps2 then I would try doing whatever to that point in the game before the glitch and then backtracking and saving it. Then try doing a different set of tasks before going through the end to the glitch. Maybe causing the game to read the code slightly differently might help bypass the glitch.(I mean by this, is instead of running forward to the glitch, try knifing in the area and then walking or knifing to the end). If you have tried all of this stuff and still isn't working right I would recommend trying it on another ps2 or getting another copy of the game from gamestop and then after you test the new copy on your system, just turn it back into the store. Of course the ill minded person might mention that if the copy from gamestop works and yours don't, you could switch them and take the non working one back to gamestop as a return.

Sims 2 Headmaster glitch.?
Right, my game is working out pretty well. I just recently encountered this problem I have never before had. I had my Sims invite over the Headmaster, gave him a tour and ended up on the second bedroom of the teenager I am trying to get into Private School. Dinner was ready by the end of it, had the adult female (teenager boy, adult female, storyline thing) call for everyone to come to dinner, I waited and went back to look to see if the Headmaster was coming but he just continued standing there. He wouldn't interact with anyone, when time ran out he continued standing there. So I went and did the Shift and clicked on him to make him selectable, I decreased his hunger to the orange zone then unselected him to see if he would leave on his own, he wouldn't. Starving but not leaving, his car he came in isn't there. I tried exiting the lot and returning, same thing, he wouldn't leave or interact. I really rather not try moving them out of the lot but if it has worked I will. Is there any other ideas or solutions for this glitch, eh? I keep reading that a patch for the game is required (I have the Sims 2 Deluxe which includes the original game and Nightlife, then got the Pets expansion pack). Is that really the solution, eh? Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.
