Why Does My Desktop Computer Turn On When I Move The Mouse And How Do I Fix It Do It Doesn

Computer speaker makes noise when I move my mouse?

I noticed yesterday that when i move my mouse my computer speaker (this is attached to my screen) makes a weird high pitch noise that is not that loud but still noticeable. I use headphones 95% of time when on my computer so i don't hear it. but once i unplugged the cord for the speakers the noise stopped, so that's i how i know its from my computer speakers. I changed my desktop background yesterday and thats when i started noticing the noise, but could making an image a desktop background have that effect? (I dont think it should) I have that logitech gaming mouse with the 20 buttons and a HP Screen i got from office depot. Any ideas how to solve this issue

My mouse won't move on my computer what do I do?

Computer technician here.....If it shows that your keyboard is not present, whether you have a wireless keyboard or a wired one. The wireless one, you will need to change the batteries in it. For wired ones, you may need to purchase a new one. A faulty keyboard can affect the mouse to not work. (but make sure the keyboard is plugged in all the way in the back of your computer and the lights on the upper right side of keyboard lights up upon starting up the computer. If not the problem, it requires a new one.)
All wireless mice and keyboards comes with installation CDs. For all wired mice and keyboards do not come with installation CDs. They are automatically recognized by Windows and the computer itself. For wireless mouse, change the batteries in it.

UPDATE: If you are using a wired USB-type keyboard, try another USB port.

Why is my computer showing this when I turn it on?

Because either of your motherboard, VGA cord (Blue adapter cable to the monitor) or your monitor are fried. This can also happen if the VGA cord has damaged pins or on one of the two ends, the adapters have some problem/loose connection.Just change the VGA cord and pray it becomes OK, or else get ready to pay for hardware repairs. Best of luck!

Why does my computer not turn the screen on when I press the power button?

Being that there are too many factors, I will just name the most common problems.Since your stating that the computer is turning on, meaning power LED lights up, then it becomes down to the display itself being the culprit. So as prior answer is that there is a power supply issue in the monitor itself. Simple test to determine if it is the monitor or the tower/desktop part. Unplug the video cord VGA or HDMI or Displayport, or DVI connector. Turn on the monitor and see if anything comes up, such as NO SIGNAL or Going To Sleep. If the monitor has a power indicator, then that should also come on, and MENU button should produce an onscreen display. If the monitor does not come on, then its most likely that a capacitor has failed inside the power section of the monitor. Older LCD monitors, also have failed inverter that powers the FL tubes inside the monitor, so you can prove that by shining a flashlight onto the monitor. Replacing the inverter or LCD tubes are worn out, similar to FL lights in your home, that will not light up anymore.Given that we have no information to know if this is a laptop, or a desktop, can only make assumptions.

Computer cursor won't move?

On my Windows 7 desktop computer my cursor won't move. I use a wireless mouse and I have tried changing the batteries, resetting/reconnecting the mouse, unplugging and re-plugging the mouse connector, restarting the computer, and even using a corded mouse with no success! I have come to the conclusion that I must have some sort of malware/spyware on my computer preventing me from moving my cursor. I use Kaspersky antivirus and just ran a scan two days ago, it said there was no threats detected.

I think if I can restore/reset my computer memory back a week it will get rid of the problem but I have no idea how to do anything on the computer if I can't move my cursor (I'm using my laptop to write this). If you know how I can go about doing this or have any other suggestion for me to try your help would be much appreciated!

Why Does My Screen Size Keep Changing When I Move Mouse (On Laptop)?

are you using two fingers at the same time? are you wearing headphones and the wire is sitting on the mouse pad? to zoom back to your original screen, place your left finger on the mouse, keep it there and dont click, then with your right finger set it on the mouse and move it left to zoom out, and right to zoom in. if that doesnt work, try to go on the manufacturers of your computer's website and look for instructions for the mouse:)

Why does my desktop screen turns black on start up?

It is not very clear from your description. However, try this:Assumptions:A. Monitor is working. To check, try the montor self test or try a different monitor.B. The power outlet is working. If you see nothing from the word go:Does the CPU power on? If not, try different power cable to the cpu. Remove all peripherals and try. If still no power. Probably SMPS has gone for a toss.If CPU powers on but no display. Switch of the computer and reseat the RAM or RAMs. If multiple RAMs try both of them with both the slots, one at a time interchangeably and powering on each time to check. If there is a RAM error, there would be no display but beeps only.If you see the Bios or company logo on screen, before the screen goes blank then OS problem and there are many troubleshooting steps for that.Let me know and I will be glad to guide ya.

How come when I turn on my monitor, and move the mouse, the screen stays black?

Well your computer has several different stages for saving power when not being used. First, your screen saver comes on and you can go back by just moving your house. Later, your monitor will goto sleep and usually you can move your mouse of press a key on the keyboard to wake it up. If its even longer, the hard drive will shut off. On many computers, you have to press (not hold) the power button to wake the computer up.

If none of this works you can always just change your settings to make it wait longer to go through each of settings, or not do them at all. To do this, right click on your desktop and click preferences. then click on the screensaver tab. Change the time to wait for the screen saver. To change other power saving settings, click on the "power..." button. Adjust the settings to how you want them.

Hope this helps

My screen on my mac moves when i move my mouse HELP!!!?

This can happen when you zoom by using the scroll wheel on your mouse with the command key down.
Hold the command key down and scroll back as small as possible and it will return to normal.
Note: If you go to system preferences and check the mouse, it will tell you which key is the culprit. Zoom might be set to the ctrl or alt keys.

Why won't my wireless laser mouse "track" or move the cursor well?

Dear Michelle,Wireless mouse tend to be slower at responding since they are not physically connected into the computer.A related problem is your large screen since if you move the cursor far it may be hard for it to track or move quick. Also before buying a mouse, make sure it has fast response times. If I we’re you I’d trash the mouse, get a new one.I don’t tend to buy laser mouse since I only play browser games and I just edit blogs, wiki’s, code and social media.I prefer optical wired mice, since they are physically connected into the computer they will be able to have faster connection times.I hope I answered your question, sorry I am a bit late, it’s because I get like someone asking me for IT answers every week!
