Why Does My Kindle Fire Hd Keep Powering Off For No Reason

Why would my Kindle fire shut down while plugged in?

This sometimes happens if the power management IC is dysfunctional. You should probably contact Kindle tech support. If the chip is not properly doing the auto-switching, what happens is when it goes to move over the device doesn't have power for a gap of time during or after the switch, which means the electronics lose power and go "off".

Why does my Kindle fire beep?

I just purchased a new Kindle Fire HDX 7" tablet. I began downloading some apps I found and every time that I clicked the download button, I'd hear a beep when the download progress bar showed up. Any idea what that is? Has anyone else had this happen? It's not a big issue but I'm just curious.

FYI, I have the volume on the kindle muted.

How do you fix a Kindle that keeps rebooting?

One day last week my Amazon Kindle Fire shut itself down because its battery was empty. I forgot about it for a few days but eventually I hooked it up to a USB charger and left it charging overnight. Next morning I found the Kindle Fire in a reboot loop. When connected to the USB charger, it would reboot itself every 5-10 seconds. When not connected to the USB charger it wouldn’t even turn on. It looked like the battery was so badly discharged that the Fire couldn’t even get to the point where it would start recharging the battery – even with the USB charger cable plugged in. I tried all suggestions I could find, including holding the power button for at least 20 seconds but the Fire still wouldn’t exit the reboot loop.Sending it in for a replacement was no option since it displayed the yellow boot loader triangle for a few seconds while booting. A pretty obvious sign that this device had been rooted :-/My plan B is to buy a so called factory cable on eBay in order to find out what’s going wrong with my Fire. Since it takes some time for the cable to arrive from Hongkong, I once again tried to get the Fire out of this cumbersome reboot loop. And guess what, this time it worked! Here’s what I did:Unplug the Kindle Fire from the USB charger cablePress and hold the power button (it should not turn on because the battery has run dry)While still holding the power button, plug the USB charger cable in (it should not turn on yet)Wait for at least 40 seconds while still holding the power buttonOnce the kindle powers on, immediately let go of the power button and prayIn my case, the power light turned orange and the device started charging the battery. Problem solved! Most likely, this only works if the battery is completely discharged and not if there’s some other problem with the software on the device.Regards,Kindle Help

My kindle fire turns off when I plug in the charger?

It would be nice to use my kindle while it is charging. Please help , I dont know why it shuts all the way down as soon as the charger is plugged in and it is unable to turn back on until the charger is unplugged .

Is it bad to leave my kindle fire hd charging all night?

NO

All devices with an internal lithium ion rechargeable battery have a smart charge/discharge circuit to avoid damage to the battery. The internal charge/discharge circuit will protect the battery mostly. The one thing it can NOT avoid is a total discharge. On low voltage, the device turns off, but that does not stop the battery from discharging any further, only slows down the rate. If you do nothing, the continuing discharge though small, will drag the voltage below the threshold and the cell will DIE as a result of to low a voltage. So, it is best to leave it on the charger, than not on the charger. The key to a long lifetime of a lithium cell is to recharge immediately if it turns itself off based on a low battery warning. If not, you COULD cause the cell to DIE prematurely... YMMV...

My Kindle Fire Hd 7 inch Battery Dies too early?

I received my Kindle Fire HD 7 inch at Christmas, and not long after my kindle fire hd 7 inch this month has been acting up too much. My battery dies even when it is at a 90% level or 60%, most of the time it randomly dies. The kindle used to survive on 5 percent battery level but now even at 15%, it will die without giving me a chance. When I press the on/off button after it dies and blacks out, it displays the words Kindle Fire as usual and then turns off. Other times it turns on the homepage, but still turns off later anyway. Only way to revive it, is to charge it and then automatically turns on. Is there anyway to fix this battery problem? I know I was suppose to drain its battery every week and charge it all the way to improve the battery life, but recently due to school and projects I didnt had time to do so. I dont have a warranty either, so I rather have any sort of advice before I attempt to convince amazon or the store I received it from to fix it.
