Why Does The Decimal Change On My Scale

Please answer my question below which is about decimal places?

It's pretty simple.
The answer would be 114.32
This is because what is meant by "two decimal places" is based upon how many numbers are to the right of the decimal.

Other examples include
88.543 would be 88.54
It is also important to remember to round up, so if the third number to the right is 5-9 then you would need to raise the number to that numbers left.
For example
88.545, 88.546, 88.547, 88.548, and 88.549 all equal 88.55 to two decimal places.

Hope this helps.

± The pH Scale Help!!!?

pH is defined to be the negative log of the hydronium ion [H⁺] concentration. When given the pH, first change the pH value to negative (press sign change key on calculator) then press [2nd][log]. The value on the calculator screen is the hydronium concentration. You could also enter 10[y^x] where x = -ph.

When given the concentration (6 x 10⁻¹²), enter the value then press [log], and the the sign
change key [+/-]. this will be the pH.

a. [H3O+] = 6×10⁻¹² M ==> pH = 11.2
b. pH = 4.240 ==>10 ^-4.24 = 5.75 x 10⁻⁵ M
c. [H3O^+]=10^-2 (pH=2), pH=2.5, pH=4, [H3O^+]=10^-5 (pH=5) , pH=9
