Do you think the media promotes interracial couples?
Sometimes I think its done for the shock value. It also seems to mainly be black men/white women relationships, as far as I have seen, no reality shows featuring white men and black wives, only black male celebrities. What King K. says is true, there are so many famous black guys dating or married to famous black women who they never really focus on. I think that's why many people think black men prefer white women, because it does seem to be actively promoted. In most if not all TV shows and movies where a black man is portrayed, his love interest or wife is very rarely black. That is strange, I don't see the same being done with other ethnic groups or the opposite gender. Plus, why cant these guys at least get an intelligent, hardworking woman? Its almost like they pick women who act like straight up whores and then they marry them. Like you said, Kim K. is like a prostitute who made a sex tape and now goes from guy to guy. Its disgusting.

Why do you always see black men with white women but you almost never see white men with black women?
The flip side of the question is why are Asian women more popular as dates or mates than Asian men? And the answer to both questions is that black men and Asian women fill their respective gender roles better.African-Americans, both men and women, are taller and stronger on average than most other Americans. The media exaggerates this by portraying black sports stars. This make black men seem more “masculine” and seemingly more desirable. The same qualities make black women (Serena Williams, perhaps?) seem less “feminine,” and therefore less desirable.Asian-Americans are physically, smaller and culturally quieter than other Americans (and the media plays up this as well). These are considered “feminine” traits that enhance the desirability of Asian-American females, and decrease the desirability of Asian American males.
White men, Why do you Think Black women care about you?
Why do white men have a vendetta against black women? what is your problem? white men are the only race of men that are constantly running behind a computer to insult women. That is a really feminine characteristic and it looks ugly on a man " BLACK WOMEN ARE UGLY, LOUD, GHETTO, FAT, AND THEIR HAIR IS LIKE A BRILLO PAD" Umm....ok, And white men are unattractive, feminine, smell like a wet dog that just finished rolling around in it's own feces, egotistical, pathetic and think women of all races want them. Honestly the only ethnic women I see chasing white men are asian women, It is a shame because asian women are to beautiful to be settling for a white male. I never see a multiracial hispanics dating white men, and most of us black women aren't checking for you either. When ever I see a white male pass me in the street I don't even look twice. I find black men the most attractive, If I did date outside my race I would date a puerto ricans or another mixed latino, They are attractive. So to white men out there why do you invest so much of your time attempting to lower the self esteem of black women? You might be able to weaken a few of my sistas with your rhetoric but I'm way to strong and proud to let your negativity get to me. What is your problem really?

Jews do date interracially I live in a predominately Jewish community and I've seen Jewish women with other men.

On tv commericals and advertisements they tend to show more interracial couples which are often in the form of black man and white woman. Myspace.com also seems to advertise a lot of interracial date sites on their own web site. Movies and the porn industry are showing more and more of this. Do you think the media has an agenda behind this and are pushing it to far?
