Why Is My Mom Acting In My Dreams But Not In Real Life

What does it mean to dream about your mom dying?

It doesn't mean anything sweet pea
Its just a bunch of random thought patterns.
It could be that your friends loss might have triggered it.
But its not an omen or anything.
So don't cry...everything is cool.
take care

Is acting a realistic dream?!?+ other?

Like I have 3 different things I kinda want to do with my life:

Veterinarian pros: I can help animals and ppl with animals
Cons: 8+ yrs of schooling which I HATE the idea of

Military pros: I can help ppl and serve my country and great benefits
Cons: a large chance that I could die and I'm no good to anyone dead

Acting/entertaining pros: (if it turns out) I could tell real stories and earn a good salary to which I would still help animals and ppl (animals are a big part of my life) etc etch etc
Cons: long hard hours and it would be hard to get into the business.

My brain is leaning toward acting quite a bit but I'm homeschooled(8th gr) and i don't live in a big city, what would I do to start getting into that?!? I'm very uncertain?!? Any thoughts?

Why do i keep dreaming of my mom dying?

Death dreams are really more about a CHANGE in your life than an actual death. It is the end of one phase of your life and the beginning of another. The old is dying to make way for the new.Life is a process of death and regeneration into a higher awareness, like the old dying off to make way for the new.Blossoms on a tree die to make way for new growth. Each little death strengthens the tree and is Essential for new growth and strength.
In your case your mom and leaving home is a SYMBOL of that change and is not really a prediction of any future event so do not worry about your mom dying.
I would try and speak with your mom about your depression and explain to her why you have been distant. You do not want to leave home on a negative note. You must remember that at some point in her life your mom most likely went through some similar feelings so even though you don't think so, one some level she will understand.

I had a dream that my mom and I won the lottery. What does this mean?

Mother • Mom - Unless there is a current issue with your mother, then your mother in a dream will stand in for your ability to know what's best, to nurture yourself and others. Your maternal instincts. If you are a mom, then your mother symbolizes your own role as mom. If your mom is dying or hurt in the dream, examine your own mothering skills. Also pay attention to the advice Mom gives in your dream because it is coming from your own intuition

Lottery • Jackpot - If you frequently play the lottery in real life, then this dream is merely a wish fulfillment dream.
If you don't normally play the lottery or gamble and you dream of winning money then you are probably telling yourself - through this dream - that it is time to take a chance on something (a relationship, an idea, etc.) because it may very well pay off!

My mom doesn't support my dream of becoming an actress. What should I do?

I'm 16 years old and I would like to become an actress when I am older. When I was 10 years old I saw my first play, Beauty and the Beast, and I knew at that moment that's what I wanted to do. After seeing the play I told my mom that I wanted to start being in plays like that and she was so supportive. From then on she was very involved and always was letting me be in school plays and community theater. Several months ago (about 10) I told my mom that I wanted to become an actress when I was older and she was everything but supportive. She said, "Its great that you have a hobby you love so much, but that's what is should be, just a hobby. " I continue to mention wanting to become a Professional actress today and she says that its not likely to happen and I should keep it as a hobby for my spare time. I don't know what do anymore. I love it so much. I am avidly involved in my school's Drama Club and Director's Choir. My voice is okay (not amazing), but I make up for that with my acting and dancing skills. Honestly, I don't even care if I become famous, all I want is to act for the rest of my life and make an average salary out of it (nothing huge). Acting is a true passion of mine and I do not know what to do. Should I listen to my mom and pursue a more practical career, like Law? (I do great in school and have a perfect 4.0 gpa). Or should I continue to follow my ultimate dream of becoming an actress, even though the high risk of not making it. I know I still have time to decide, but for some reason this has really been bothering me lately.

Thank you so much for reading! I would love answers from fellow actors/actresses. Also responses from other parents would be great. I appreciate all serious responses though!

Getting molested in my dream....?

Are you certain that these are only dreams? Is it possible that your adopted mother actually did something to you when you were little? I am concerned about this dream, I get a bad feeling from it. In yahoo answers you can meet a lot of caring people who will be happy to chime in their two cents worth, but we are not a good replacement for qualified professional help. I am not sure if this is a dream, or if something really happened when you were little, and you may be dreaming of repressed memories. I would like to strongly urge you to seek a professional therapist to talk to about this, and see if you can figure out if it's a repressed memory or just symbolic of other kinds of stress that took place between you and your mom. That the dreams stopped for a while when you started locking your door in real life suggests to me that there may have been times when you were locking out more than just dreams. I see on your avatar that you are engaged, and I am sure that you want to get your life off to the best start possible, so I hope you will look for someone better qualified to talk to about it. I will keep you in my thoughts...good luck....

If you dream repeatedly of your parents/siblings/friends/relatives death, what does that mean? What can you do to make these dreams go away?

Dreams are inexplicable sometimes. The conscious and subconscious mind constructs some visualizations based on the past and present life of yours and the way you want to see it in future, in your thoughts. Whatever you see in the dreams may or may not have any relation to reality, however various studies give various theories for the kind of dreams you possess and various reasons for it!The things that happen all throughout the day and few overlapped memories influence your dreams, sometimes its purely random and sometimes based on the things you were doing and thinking just before going to the bed. However i read the following possibilities of such dreams in an article i read somewhere.1If you find yourself talking to a dead in your dreams, this indicates that you are surrounded by people who are not compatible with you and this compatibility issue is causing a negative effect on your personality. This also symbolizes some kind of material loss and you need to get recovered from that loss as early as possible.2Dreams are an indication of what we are thinking. If you are constantly seeing a person who is recently died, this means that you miss that person and he had left some impact on your mind. It also indicates that you are adapting the problems similar to that of the person you are seeing in your dreams.3Usually you use dreams as a channel to talk to those people who are gone such as parents. The fear of losing a person also leads you to this path. These dreams may also mean that you are trying to understand their death.4Seeing dead siblings indicates that you miss the fun and time spent with them. You select dreams for reliving those experiences.5Parents who have lost their child in any incident dream of that child might mean that they want to keep their child through their thoughts and want to see him grow up in their dreams.6If you see a person dying who is already dead, then this is an indication that you miss that person on some special occasion which is related to that person such as birthday, anniversary, etc.
