Why Is The Boston Bombing Terrorist Still Alive

Why did they bomb boston?

Because he and his brother knew that there would be alot of people there; it is a big tradition and on Patriot's Day.

They wanted to have as much an impact on something positive that they could. And they are terrorists without a thought to human life.

Zayn Malik is a Terrorist?

You know how ignorant some people are. A lot of caucasians think that because you're muslim, you're a terrorist. Because a lot of those terrorists are pakistan and indian or something, and most are muslims. And Zayn is pakistan. So they just call him a terrorist to be mean. They know he's not, they're just trying to hurt him. But yeah, Zayn is sexy and is not a terrorist.

Why are both the Ft. Hood and the Boston Marathon terrorists still alive?

Well, two out of three anyway. Tamerlan Tsarnaev is still dead.Because working through the whole appeals process on capital cases usually takes years. Both of them are in various places along that track.Neither of them are going anywhere other than their extremely unpleasant jail cells, (Dzhokar Tsarnaev is imprisoned at ADX Florence, Nidal Hasan at the prison at Fort Leavenworth) so why be worried about it?Original question:Why are both the Ft. Hood and the Boston Marathon terrorists still alive?

Was the Boston Marathon Bombing a Hoax?

I was going through that website and those pictures look very fake also some videos in youtube.

Boston Marathon Terrorist Attacks (April 2013): How much did the search for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev cost overall?

I don't know the exact answer to this question, but the thing that amazes me is the expense asymmetry associated with the reaction to terrorism.  In Boston the terrorists spent a few thousand bucks on guns and bombs and we spent billions in response.  In 9/11 the terrorists spent $500k and we spent several trillion in response. We know that expense asymmetry can be a very effective strategy against an enemy as we employed exactly the same thing against the Soviet Union during the cold war.  One of the reasons for Radio Free Europe to exist was that for every $1 we spent broadcasting it, the Soviets had to spend $100 in jamming it.Even as we declare that we as a people are not 'terrorized', we have still spent staggering sums in response.Perhaps the question might be better posed as - "What is the true economic societal cost of the response to terrorism since 9/11?"Many, many trillions is the answer.

Why would the Boston bombing suspect claim he is innocent if he is a terrorist?

It is odd for someone who we are told was a radical terrorist that placed a bomb in a crowd of civilians to suggest he is innocent – if they were guilty.   Not exactly the suicidal scheming politically motivated terrorists the investigation has painted him out to be.   As someone who has reviewed all the available evidence assisted by some pretty darn good investigators all I ask is an open mind to the rest of this answer.  I realize the news has already made the suspect guilty in most people's minds.  All I ask is a little objectivity. There is not one stitch of physical evidence he did anything he is accused of.  There has been a claim that there is video of him setting down the bomb but this video has never been shown to the public.  So the government’s case rests strongly on this video.   If this video exists the suspect claiming innocence is folly and he will go down hard.    The other main piece of evidence is the claim that they hijacked an SUV and confessed both to the bombing and killing a police officer when they took control of the car and apparently held the driver hostage (one of many versions told).   However the driver has never been publicly identified.   So the “key witness” in this case is a mystery witness, an anonymous individual.  We don’t allow anonymous witness’s in our justice system so at some point this person is going to need to face the suspect in public.    We as a society have jumped through a lot of hoops and run a lot of news stories without ever seeing a stitch of evidence to prove anything we have been told about what happened both at the marathon and in Watertown.  We have heard a lot of talk which is worth exactly nothing.    IMO the main reason for claiming innocence is that there is no physical evidence that he planted the bomb – or that he ever used any type of weapon.   This creates a lot of challenges for the prosecution to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

What are your views on the Boston Marathon Terrorist Attacks?

Well, it could have been a lot worse, with bombs planted in crowds, the bombs were fairly low tech. You are always going to get disgruntled individuals with a grudge. The Tsarnaev brothers certainly faced racism and were excluded from society. I don't think blowing up random strangers was the best outlet for their resentment.I think the government's response was a little heavy handed, closing a city down on a hunt for one person was a little excessive, it shows how far fear and paranoia run US policy. This doesn't appear to be an organised campaign or a major threat to anyone, in their search for other people involved nothing really was uncovered, some friends and family were detained, but that's about it.I'm glad the US is following its constitution and due process in the trial of the suspect. I don't really buy any of the conspiracy theories, it is perfectly possible that the brothers were encouraged and helped by others, but home made bombs aren't that hard to produce, neither is getting your hands on weapons and grenades. It was a pointless waste of lives that achieved nothing.

Stupid question about terrorists?

I think terrorists like the idea of striking the same place twice for the psychological impact. This would show people their efforts to prevent attacks are useless.

Did North Korea Bomb Boston?

It is extremely unlikly North Korea had anything to do with the terrorist attacks that have accured in Boston. North Korea usually does artillary attacks and other sorts to cause fear but never such things as terrorist attacks, its not there emo. Nor would it be easy for a North Korean spy to make his way to Boston without someone finding out.

The bombs appear to be home-made, poorly constructed and not really effective. This points to the possibility to it being more of a domestic attack, rather then foreign, like North Korea or Al-Qaeda.

It is much more likely it was domestic, but there is always the possibility of Al-Qaeda, or a Lone Wolf.
